Interesting thing is that i have some friends IRL that are on BT but We don't interact digitally at all. Then of course a bunch of BT peeps that even though i have never met them IRL I feel like they are good friends. Its highly interesting. Shout out to me and Q's magical tour trippers. Well said also Josh (who I've met). I have had the pleasure of meeting several BTers, mainly from the Maryland Forum at some social and Tri related events. I have also had the pleasure to meet THECLAAAW on two occassions. Below is a picture of us meeting up at the Chrissy Wellington book signing in Baltimore earlier this year.

I, like Sue (who I've never met!) coredump and I got engaged at the finish line of IMWI in 2011, after meeting right here on BT waaaay back in 2004, and after we started dating in 2006: We got married amongst a slew of BT'ers: Kurt (outcast) Tony (mr2tony Goggs) Jen (jahnumbers) Haley (Comet) Starting at the polkadots (jahnumbers, CrazyYeti, dumpstersmom, coredump, someone's eyebrows, me, Hollyslu, Gracia, outcast, Lazymarathoner, tealeaf, Amyjotris, Firstnet911, mr2tony) So many of my (our) dear friends sprang from this website. I no longer find it odd that I met my husband and most of our circle of friends on the interwebs. We've traveled hundreds of miles to visit and hang out with these people. We even flew across the ocean to visit Tony and Monica (with LazyMarathoner) in London. Me and Tony in Trafalgar Square!

In fact, today I chatted on the phone with 2 BTers and texted with another....none of who live in CA. A few weeks ago I was at my local Whole Foods with an MDot hat on and a woman (also wearing Mdot gear) started chatting with me and then said "Are you on BT?" I said "yes I am!" She said "you are AbbieR!" LOL
