Good luck Tracey!

I'm doing a 2 mi. OWS in Crystal Lake, IL - where I live.

I wouldn't call it a race, at least not for me.  More of an experience at this point.

Whizz will be there too.  Maybe she'll stick around to cheer me out of the water after she's finished, cleaned up, changed, eaten, seen the results and had a nap.

Pewaukee Sprint Triathlon. This was the race last year that got me started on this sweet addiction you people call triathlon. I am anxious to see what progress a year of experience has brought.

T-Gator #3, last of a series of low-budget, no-frills races in Lake Chuck. At best a "C" race for me, I'm going to train through it, probably ride 50+ miles on Saturday and another 30 Sunday after the race, might run some extra miles after the finish as well.

I'll be roasting in the heat up here in Minnesota with running2far at the Lifetime Fitness Triathlon.  I'm doing my first OLY one year after getting hooked on tri while doing a relay at the same race.  If all goes to plan, I'll beat my swim by 22 minutes or so!

come on, you are not going to let a little thing like the birth of your first child get in the way of a race. congrats!

I'm in for the Buckeye Lake Sprint, just as soon as the RD calls me back and tells me why I'm not on the participant list even though I have a registration confirmation.

BTW, I've got no idea what "chuffed" means.

Lay off, dude. It's his first child.

Now the birth of the second one you can train through.
