NFL Football: Report: Brady tore ACL and MCL Aug. 14, 2013 (Sports Network) -- New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady tore both the ACL and MCL in his left knee, the Boston Globe reported Wednesday. And then there's this: The Patriots signed free-agent quarterback Tim Tebow in June to be a backup to Brady, while passer Ryan Mallett is also on the roster. Today is Tebow’s 26th birthday. Mallett is injured. TEBOW TIME! |

I gotta give credit where credit is due and he's no slouch. |

Which is funny because Tebow is almost the opposite. I'm a big fan of "Tebow" but his playing abilities are meh. |

I'm kinda forced to watch the Patriettes here and, if you watch their offense, it goes with Wes Welker (or whoever is the slot guy) running a square out or 3 steps and turn around screen. That's 75% of his passing game. Nothing like what Bree's, Manning(either one) or other pocket QB's run. He wins games, but, IMO, he plays a system game and his talent isn't the only, reason they win. Wiki Matt Cassel as evidence.... |

USA Today, August 14: An MRI on Brady's knee showed no structural damage, a person with knowledge of the exam told USA TODAY Sports. The person spoke on the condition on anonymity since the Patriots did not publicly reveal the results. Brady is considered day-to-day with a mild sprain. |

Yeah, and my point was that it seems he's not hurt as bad as originally thought. We all know Evil Bill plays games with injury reports. |

Both Brady and the head coach are impressive. They have picked apart some good teams over the past decade. |

BOSTON—Following an alarming episode in which New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady suffered a mild sprain to his left knee, government officials confirmed Thursday that Massachusetts has been evacuated in order to prevent the state’s populace from having any contact with the star athlete’s knee. |

And I'm not a fan, because my Broncos usually have to go against them in the playoffs. But both have been consistent with many a different team and players for a long time. You could add in the Colts, but then you have to compare SB appearances and Championships... and then Colts sort of fall apart. Spy Gate isn't anything any other team didn't do, and I can't understand where Brady's looks enter into a discussion of ability. |
