What's everyone up to today?

It's an easy week for me, so I just had a 45-min trainer ride this morning and some strength/core/etc.

Last full week before Boston taper.

9.2 miles, VO2 max. day.  2.6 mile warm up, 4 x 1,200 @ 5k pace with 400 recovery between each one, 2.6 mile cool down.  My HR was through the roof today.  Peaked around 189 on the last interval.  That would be fine if my pace for the intervals didn't suck, but it was slow.

Trainer ride tonight.

30 min swim (1400m) this morning, focusing on bilateral breathing. Felt good and I should get comfortable with that quickly.

45min trainer session on the schedule for tonight.

Not sure what Im going to be able to do tonight. I ran a 10K this weekend and my right foot has been hurting and I dont want to press my luck at further injury. Frustrating not being able to train though

Biking is fine ... will do a 45min ride after work. Supposed to do a 45min run afterwards, but I might skip to aid recovery.

Ran for just over an hour this morning and then rode my bike to work. I haven't decided yet if I'll go to masters swimming tonight or maybe try to get a longer ride in.

30 min 1300 meter swim this morning.

I'll try to get on the bike trainer tonight. Probably pretty late.

Track season started yesterday (coaching middle school level) so I timed it so I had an easy, recovery week this week.

Plus taking my boys for a baseball workout sometime tonight.

This is a recovery week for me - I need it after last week where I was skiing every day on top of the regular training.

Did an hour spin class this morning. Swim workout canceled as I have a sick kid at home.

Hills hills hills!!! Hillwork on the run for me this morning.  16 mile run. 1700ft of ascent. 21% of the total run was uphill.  Good meaty stuff!

Gonna hit up the bike drainer after work for an hour session or so.

46 min trainer ride (using a harder gear) as per the workouts in a binder recommendation. first trainer ride where i haven't felt i was going to die - guess it pays off

core work after, and even that is getting better.
