Amazing thread, LOVE IT!  Everyone has done such a great job, it's just awesome!

Can't we make this a sticky or something so it doesn't keep getting buried?

I don't have before and after pics, because to me they aren't that different yet. I want to see the difference. Maybe I am too critical of myself, but hey. I started training in November at a weight of 198, my heaviest ever. I used to be very active, softball, soccer, anything I could get my hands or feet on. Courtesy of some meds in the last 18 months, I put on almost 30 lbs. I am now down to 178lbs. So, I have lost 20lbs and I am feeling better, I am jogging again and my cardio is getting better. I am continuing to improve and I am loving what I am doing.

I also know this is still a journey and it's still going.

Ten9T6 - 2008-06-06 7:13 PM Yah.. I really like this this thread too. I posted some changes a while back and continually check out the thread for motivation. Now that it has been bumped, I guess it is a good time to post my pictures from a couple of days ago. Short story... I got out of the military and pretty much decided that I was never going to run again.. lol.. No Running / PT + Late Night Support Job + Mt Dew (by the truck loads) + Taco Bell + 8 years or so = 330+ lbs The before pic was taken after I had already lost some weight for our trip and I was b/w 315 and 320. The after pic was take a couple of days ago, a little over 100 lbs down, 6 pants sizes (about to be 7), xxl / xxxl shirts down to L, much more energy, lower bp, and on track to be below 200 by Louisville. Kenny
Seriously Kenny, I barely recognized you at that bike rally. If you didn't having that flaming yellow paint job on your bike, I wouldn't have known it was you. Great job man, it's impressive.

WOW.  Congratulations.  Did the shocking weight loss cause your hair to go white?  Just kidding - that's an awesome achievement.

Ok, here is my before photo.  It was at my first tri when I was about 245lbs which was not my max (269).  I don't yet have an after photo but I'm at 220 right now.  I plan to get near 200 before taking an after pic and posting it.  Yes, unfortunately, those are moobs!!!  Maybe I should change my name from rsqdvr to moobs no more!

my little boy has been shouting at me for the last 20 minutes to stop looking at the computer and come and watch the Carebears (for the 90th time).  Wow there are some amazing transformations, incredible work.  Here are mine, only a difference of 25lbs and about 12 to go but it's made such a difference to me.  No I'm not pregnant in the first one, about 9 months post baby so there really was no excuse for that belly.

edited to say no idea why it's so big - luddite
