  • Comments: This was a very good first race for me to boost my confidence. I wanted to come in under 1:50. Would have been very happy with under 1:40. I did 1:31.

  • Comments: A low key race on a very nice course. Well run. Nice Dry fit shirt. This is the 4th time this year I have gotten a dry fit shirt. I like this trend.

  • Comments: This is a fun, low key, low tech race that is very well run. I enjoy this course. Bike is a bit long for a Sprint with some nice hills. Run is a flat trail run that runs fast.

  • Comments: Nice dryfit shirts for everyone who entered the race, however I think they blew the budget on the shirts for everyone because the prizes were weak-mesh bag (don't need ANOTHER1) water bottle from last year, mini body glide, clif shot and hat. I preferred the nice asics tech fabric shirts they gave out last year.

  • Comments: This was my third Tri, and I continue to improve. The biggest change I made was I pushed harder on the bike, but I still had plenty of gas for the run, so I feel good. This was a nice race and I had a great time.

  • Comments: So all of the girls who stayed at my place last night placed -we went 1-2-3 in the 20-29 AG! Mich blew me away on the run...but only by two min which is good for me, Kathleen (who won NYC in her AG) went in the elite group but as a strong runner and a weaker swimmer and biker she ended up having no one to race with -she came in about 1 min ahead of me but I think would have been faster if she was with Mich and I. AG prizes were cool -asics dry-lite singlets with the race logo. It was also great to catch up with more friends post race. Went to a TNT barbeque after the race which was fun -lots of beer, food and playing volleyball in the pool. Oh, I almost forgot...I dropped my time by about 10 minutes from last years race :) Above all that's what I am happy about - a significant improvement. Note: split times approx-no chip timing.

  • Comments: Really would have appreciated champion chip timing... From what the Race Director said it sounds like Greenwich Charged him an arm and a leg to use the park so he probably couldn't spring for the timing. Very affluent race. Lots of people who looked like they had more money in their bikes than training on them... Not a bad thing but it was very apparent. Directions: I-95 exit 5. Right at the end of ramp and right at first light on South Beach Avenue to the end. Right turn on Shore Road to the beach.
