unbelievable!  even in the replays I am amazed because he is still bringing his arms around in that last stroke and looks for SURE that he is being out touched - and boom, 1/100th of a second!!!!!

I am pulling for him to win the 8 medals, but does anyone seeing the repetition perceives the other dude touched 1st? I know they have computer touch pads and such (he won.) it just the optical illusion is way too close with the splashing. but it doesn't matter, he won and it is all that matters! he IS a freak, the good kind

oh and the british lady  just just broke the WR 800 mts free was just sick too! 8:14 min

Wow!  I really didn't think he was going to get that one.  Amazing that he managed to get it right at the end.

WOW.  talk about how to touch the wall.  that extra stroke vs. cabot's glide in.  wow.  when the 2nd place guy sees the replay of that one he's going to kick himself 1000 times.

The timing pad is obviously biased.

Holy crap.  Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good...

Seriously, that's TWO of his races where I said, "No way he's winning this one."  Then....he won!

Shows how much I know.
