It seems like they end up being rest days because we're really just too busy doing everything else to train. I will run later this afternoon -- a very short (2-3 miles) run. I may also take my bike out for a little. The ride yesterday went much better than the first ride with it. I maintained the aero position for three miles. I was going fast enough that I actually thought maybe I should slow down. I kept imagining what would happen if I hit a sharp rock or a bad bump that I wasn't expecting. Does it get easier to control the bike in that position with practice? I'm hoping so. I'm taking a swimming break today. My shoulders are a little achy.
