I tried...I really did. But it's like looking at a woman's boobs, or staring at the sun. You know it can be bad for you, but the temptation is too great.

Telling people to ignore things is just going to make them *not* ignore it. It's like telling someone to not think about red elephants. Or not to push the big red button.

I ignored it the first time around, but couldn't resist tempatation the second time around. 

I was ignoring it just fine until I saw there were already three replies.

Probably because of the chance that in case you said something enormously witty, I'd kick myself later on if I missed it. But then if I missed it, how would I know enough to kick myself?

You FAIL. That's the worst test I've ever graded. No punctuation, no thesis, no evidence. By that last bit I think you weren't even trying anymore, just hitting number keys in order.
