Subject: USAT sticker

Just curious as to how many people sport USAT stickers on their vehicles?  I was driving into work this morning and saw a USAT sticker on the back of a vehicle.  I passed her (so as not to draft) and it felt good that I'd passed someone that was clearly under my AG.  :-)

Some people feel strongly enought about their sport and/or it defines them so much that they want others to know.  You see a lot of soccor balls and SCUBA stickers but it's rare that I see USAT stickers...but I do sometimes see them is in the parking lot at the swimming pool.

Mine is on my bike rack, so when it is on my car I am sporting it, otherwise, it is in the garage.

I haven't put mine on my truck because I am planning on getting a new vehicle soon. I couldn't find a place to buy a replacement sticker, so I'm saving it. Does anyone know where I can order one?

My kid destroyed my USAT sticker...I just emailed USAT and they sent me a new one. They were very nice about it. No charge.

My new one is on my car. It is the first sticker I have ever put on my car. Just yesterday I put a 70.3 sticker on too...seems I have crossed to the dark side!

Not me.  I do have my IMFL license plate cover on though.  When that wears out I will likely put on a 140.6 sticker

Not to hijack the thread but I just signed up with the USAT.  About how long does it take for you to get all of your "official member" stuff?

I go incognito, no USAT/26.2/140.6/tri/anything stickers.  My wife did get an M-dot static cling that's on right now along with the PK static cling.

So how low do the stickers go?  140.6, 70.3, 26.2, ???

I don't recall seeing a 3.1 yet.

Tip: Make your sticker(s) into a magnet. You can purchase magnet material by the roll at a craft-type store, stick the sticker on the correct side, cut to fit with scissors, and viola - car magnet.

I do this so I don't have something permanantly on my car forever. I can move it around in different locations on my car, take it with me if I sell my car, put it on a different car, etc.

I have a 70.3 one.

Yeah, no tri stickers, but I DO have 2 magnets I added after Eagleman.  I've got a "70.3" and a "tri"  I find myself odd for doing 11 marathons and having no mention of running on my car, and a I do a tri and go nuts....

USAT sticker on my bumper.  Always enjoy seeing evidence of fellow triathletes on the road.

My wife has a magnet with S/B/R figures that says "How about a threesome?"  I'll reserve further comment on that one...

Hopefully in 2 1/2 weeks--if my hamstring cooperates--I'll be able to be really obnoxious and add the "140.6" sticker.

Never been interested in a "26.2" sticker for some reason...and once you put on the "140.6" it implies "26.2", doesn't it, so no point after that...

X2 I see several per day in this area of FL.

I need to get out there and replace my old, sun-bleached unit sticker and USMC sticker and replace them with new USMC and USAT stickers.

Unless you do a 281.2  Double Iron right?

I agree though, I thought about the 26.2 and decided against.  If I ever get-up the nerve to do an IM and finish, I'll definitely sport the 140.6.

Good luck man!
