Yay! I've been waiting for this (It's 10pm Wednesday here) to post on the proper day.

Kim: Awesome workout! Inspiring.

As for me, did my 8x400s at a 9:31 pace based on my last 5k time. Worked on the abs and arms as well.

16k run home from work for me.  My wife will meet up with me somewhere around the 12-13k mark to finish the run with me.

Class, meeting, class, meeting, class, meeting . . . that's my day. I'm going to miss my noon swim today because of . . . you guessed it, . . . a meeting. I hope to swim about 30 minutes at 5:00 before I go home. Then I see a very slow family bike ride (my husband just got the tag along bike for my four (almost five!) year old to ride behind him). After the kids go to bed, a slow 2 mile-ish run. Tapering this week. The good news is that this is the first taper week so far where I'm actually feeling better than when training "hard." I iced my hip last night after my run, and it feels much better today. My Achilles tendons don't hurt at all! Hooray!

Everyone enjoy the day. I hate to say it, but I'm missing those 100 degree days. 49 in the morning sucks. :-(

Biking home from work if the weather holds out, roughly 18 miles. Then off to the gym for some swim time, about 40 minutes if it happens. Weatherman says rain all week. I'll take whatever I can get.

2:50 swim, 8000m, all straight-up freestyle in long sets. Talk about mental training!

30-minute spinny on the trainer to shake it all out.

I was supposed to have a 40 minute tempo run this morning but I decided to go a different route and ended up hitting a bunch of hills.  Between the hills and being drained from yesterday's late night run I only ended up doing 30 minutes of plodding along.

Hopefully get my bike back from the shop today and go for a quick ride after work.

Should be fun tonight. Looks like rain for my BRICK. 1 hour of intervals on the bike then 40 min run. The good thing is I can ride in a retirement condo loop so its basically a closed road after 6 pm.

What a difference cooler weather makes!  Mid 60's this morning & did 10.25 miles at what felt like a pretty relaxed pace.  My pace turned out to be over a minute faster per mile than last week when I did this in much hotter weather.  Followed up with 2,950 yds in the pool this afternoon.

Ran along the Schuylkill River only to cross the bridge and find the path and roads completely flooded out on Kelly Drive (other side of the river). Had to detour through the ghetto and up some miserable hills to get home. 9.1 miles @8:26, little slower in the mud, little faster through the ghetto
