Sadly, I have no workout to report yet!   Slept walked through all three snoozes, woke up to hubby's alarm.  I must have been TIRED!  I will do my best to get in an afternoon workout, but that may be tough.  I may just make today my off day.

Happy waking up to all you other early morning risings! You afternoon worker-outers, send me workout vibes around 4:30pm!

Kim, I am on the other side of that coin at the moment. My wife is out of town for a few days, and I just don't sleep well when she is away. So, every morning and night is a training session of some nature.

5:00 am - wake up
5:15 am - Intervals on the middle school track. Have I mentioned how little I enjoy intervals?

Enjoy the day, the weekend is coming.

I am on Sarasota beach for a seminar (poor me), so this morning i ran along the gulf for a post concussion 3 mile test run.  This afternoon i'll sneak out of the seminar a bit early and, assuming no post workout headache, will swim in the gulf!

Had a great 8.5 mile fast paced run but my Thursday is almost over, going to bed so I can be ready for Friday.

Good morning, Kim! Girl, you are busy. When you get your workout in, it's in.

Got a 5 mile run in with my half-a-thon relay teammate.

I'm right there with you, Kim. I've been fighting off a sinus infection all week and took some NyQuil to help sleep. It worked too well.

Plan on swimming at lunch and after work today, after feeling too crummy to swim yesterday. Hope everyone has a great day.

We're having bright, sunny, and unseasonably warm weather here. Alas, it is a rare rest day - I am tapering for a half marathon on Sunday.

Glad tomorrow is rest day. Really had to pull out all the mental stops to get out there today after half day of teaching and then 5 hours of parent conferences (nine in a row with no break). Finally told myself I would end the run at Smoothie Factory (good stuff!) and that got me out the door for a one-hour easy run!

Scared the deer away from the track again this morning! Cold and lovely morning for 6 x 1000m with 60 sec (100 m) between 1 and 2, followed by 400m jog recovery, then another 60s b/t 3 and 4 + 400, etc. My first time doing this set of intervals and the short recovery in between was very hard! Gearing up for Richmond half in Nov. Hope I didn't push it too hard, I have 15 scheduled for tomorrow. My longest run in maybe 8-9 months, yikes!

Meant to do Insanity last night in my hotel room, but crashed early.  Did Day 3 of week 1, Plyometric Cardio Circuit, this morning.

I'm feeling like doing something else tonight, like upper body ST or a short, easy bike ride.

Have a good one!

Jealous. Well, except for the post concussion headache. I hope you feel better.

Four miles this morning -- it felt good -- except for the wind.

PT this afternoon, and then I hope to get something in this evening. I have to do a poetry workshop from 7-9 p.m. and my kids will be in play practice, so who knows if I'll be able to manage anything.

No swimming lessons today, for no reason. I kept my student hat on in lieu of putting on my administrator hat, but I seriously wanted to say, "Why are you canceling class, and why didn't you notify the "Dean"? lol

An hour in the pool with masters this morning, including a 35x50 fr main set.
A half an hour on the t-mill during lunch break, 'cause it's raining here too.

I'm going to try to get in an hour on the trainer this evening. Days are getting rapidly shorter. Fall is in full swing around here.

It's me ... frickin' Typhoid Mary Dengue Dummy.

It's harder to do the training that requires lots of rest/recovery than it is to do active training.

I hope to be back on my feet soon, but I suppose we could all remember that what we do in between active training sessions is what determines just what effect those sessions will have.

Good to see everyone drumming away ... be well.

Thanks!  It's the Magic Mountain Man Triathlon (M3).  Best part is gonna be 3000ft of climbing at ~4-5% over 3 ascents.  O_O

Up late last night and I slept through my alarm this morning... again.  I was supposed to get in an easy run in the morning and a quick ride after work.  Ended up taking the bike into the shop for what should have been an in and out job according the them but now its there until at least this afternoon.  We'll see if I can get it back for a ride today...

25 mile bike ride after work. 25 MPH winds during the ride made it brutal at times.
