The funny thing is that triathletes-in-training are one of the few groups of people who could fit this many extra calories into their diet and work it off fairly quickly.

Now what it would do to my GI system is another story.

I'll have two!

As an aside...I could really see myself pulling one of those out of my bike Special Needs bag at IMFL.

Yeah..

The KKD in Daly City is conveniently located right across from an In-and-Out. Talk about synergy!

While that does sound kind of yummy, don't think it would be the type of energy I would like.  I think the fat would give me a lot of GI distress.

Reminds me of the "Good Morning Burger" from ther Simpsons. Here's how to make your own:

The Good Morning Burger {sb}

ingredients: 18oz ground beef patty 6-8 tbl. of rich creamy butter 8 strips of bacon 4 slices of ham 3 fried eggs instructions: sizzle the ground beef, bacon, ham, and eggs on the grill. place the beef on a bun, the top with bacon, ham and eggs. soak in butter. makes 1 wake up serving

The ballpark selling it should be required to put 10% of the purchase price of each one sold towards the Medicare trust fund.

He,he.  I think you should replace your pre race meal of beer and chicken wings with a Krispy Creme Hamburger.

heh.. that's still less than the 'Ultimate Cheeseburger' from Jack in the Box.. 1010 calories.. 71 grams of fat..

http://www.jackinthebox.com/ourfood/dynamic/nutrition.php?cat=1

Schlotsky's had a sandwich that was close to that too. They don't show the calorie count for larges (only small and medium)... but by extrapolating it must be well over a thousand calories and 65 grams of fat. I swear I saw somewhere that there was one with over a 100 grams of fat in just one of them. Now I'm on a mission to find it.

bts

Edit- That's right, the ThickBurger from Hardee's. 1,417 calories and 107 grams of fat. Nice.

I feel a little sick after reading that one.  It reminds me of the "homewrecker" hotdog that Oscar Mayer served in their cafeteria.  No, it wasn't actually called that, but the guys in my lab and I called it that.  It's a half pound hot dog, 4 strips of bacon, covered with chili and cheese.  There were actually people who ate it, too.  Ew ew gross.

...and 107 grams of fat. Nice.

For the record, 107 grams is just a hair under one quarter pound. Of fat.

Atsa lotta fat...

Let's not forget the super size fries and super size coke (diet or regular) that one would have with these monster burgers.

That' supposed to be the size of the patty, not the amount of fat!

*heads to the restroom to lose her sensible, low-fat breakfast*

Somewhere in Minnesota there's a restaurant that serves up a burger that is AT LEAST the size of your average dinner plate.  I ordered one, ate as much as I could (maybe 25%), took the rest home, had a huge amount the 2nd day (maybe another 25%), then finally split the other half with my two kids.  Somewhere I have a picture of it.  I think it ought to be called the 8th wonder of the world.

After further testing I've discovered that they will fit in your bike jersey pockets although the grease does tend to run down the your butt crack.
Now to develope the Clif burger.

Thereby negating the need for Chamois Butter.
