Ironman 70.3 Memphis? I am confused. (that is not unusual) Ironman seems to be handing out 70.3's left and right. The Seatle area has been clamoring for one for years and it seems they are finally getting one. A local town council meeting authorized "Ironman 70.3 Washington-Maple Valley." This event has not yet been announced. Earlier this year, Memphis and Des Moines were among the cities bidding for the full distance event that Tulsa got Des Moines got a 70.3 out of the deal and it sounds like Memphis will as well. This event has not yet been announced. I think that Fayetteville, Arkansas was also going for that Tulsa 140.6 slot. I wonder if they will get a 70.3 as well? |

On the heels of the discount codes conversation, I was reading this as "you got an Ironman" for free. My brain is a scary place sometimes. |

Master 9705 Raleigh, NC area | Subject: RE: Manatees - 2019 Edition - Practice Maximum Enthusiasm - CLOSED I'm having sync issues today. Stuff is not automatically coming over from Garmin and manual upload is not working for me at the moment either. I get the "Oops. Something went wrong. Please contact [email protected] and we'll get right on it." |

Master 8249 Eugene, Oregon | Subject: RE: Manatees - 2019 Edition - Practice Maximum Enthusiasm - CLOSED Might be interested in the latter if I can figure out where Maple Valley is.... Since Lake Stevens stopped, there haven't been any IM races within an easy day's drive. (CDA is a very LONG day's drive from here; actually even from Boise due to the mountain roads.) |

Master 4452 | Subject: RE: Manatees - 2019 Edition - Practice Maximum Enthusiasm - CLOSED Not too far from Auburn or Renton (about 12 miles east from either). I've done a standard distance in the area and it was a nice route. Would love to see a 70.3 there! |

Last issue i had was a couple of days ago when i couldn't even get to the site bc all my devices said it wasn't secure! Yep there was some security issue last week - I got the same messages. I DM'd BT on Facebook but whoever reads those never replied (it showed it was read though). Then it was fixed. Then Garmin data was not syncing over the weekend - well it did for some workouts but not others. Then I had double syncs on a few workouts when I logged on this morning - and for some that didn't even have issues. |

I received a note this morning about backlogged uploads and changing to a new server. I wonder if the security warning that you bumped into last week was because the certificate wasn't on the server that you were talking to, so to speak. |

Master 9705 Raleigh, NC area | Subject: RE: Manatees - 2019 Edition - Practice Maximum Enthusiasm - CLOSED I did not know about this. We may need to have Melanie do some recon (it's not that close to Mel, it's north of Harrisburg by quite a bit -- but it's way closer to her than it is to me!)-- and then we'll all need gravel bikes |

Master 2429 Falls Church, Virginia | Subject: RE: Manatees - 2019 Edition - Practice Maximum Enthusiasm - CLOSED Hellloooo, Manatees! After Miami and some adventures in Orlando, I was down with the flu for a few days. Today is my first day back at work. I owe some race reports for sure, but the tl;dr is that I got to stand on two podiums, and of course I cried because it was amazing. |

I'd be willing to do some recon and may likely have friends who have ridden in that area that I can question. That sounds like a fun and pretty ride! Some fools sign up for such things to race with podmates. That fool is me/Chatt, just in case anyone thought otherwise. |

Expert 1694 Illinois | Subject: RE: Manatees - 2019 Edition - Practice Maximum Enthusiasm - CLOSED The EX2 gravel race looks amazing. That group puts on some great events. I have an aunt who lives in Maryland, so a few years back I drove my Mom out east to visit her and did EX2's Xterra in Cumberland. Had the best time getting my butt kicked. |
