Karen - Ironman Malaysia on Saturday (stalk her online or via the Ironman App, #1062)

Is anyone else racing?

Who’s planning to Turkey Trot next week? So far I have me and Laura Y.

Go Karen!!

I was going to do the local TT, but no dogs allowed, so I will take Teddy and Charlie and we will do our own!

PSA there will be a Mini Manatee Meetup (as in two of us haha) for the Atlanta Half Marathon on March 17! Jen (jenstewey) and I are both registered... join the fun! There's also a full marathon and a 5K!

Good luck, have fun, be safe, be speedy, Karen!

I *think* I"m running the very little, very low key Turkey Trot in WV while visiting in-laws next week.

I have such a bad case of Friday-itis.  Yesterday totally felt like a Friday with the hubbub of our snow storm, people leaving early, low in-office attendance and now today feels wrong.  Having trouble getting into it.  Ah well, only a few more hours!

Right now, she is past the 25k mark on the run so more than halfway done.

Thanks so much for all the tracking and IM juju! All I can say is that it was truly epic, particularly the bike. NOTHING went as planned on that part--issues at times with bike, body, and weather! (But no monkey attacks--did see a lot, though, including some enjoying gu packets and water bottles!) The run was amazing--hot at first but glorious sunset over the beach and then the final hours in the dark. REALLY dark in some places between aid stations and villages. I don't think I've ever done a run like that!

OMG I am sore!

Tiny Grandma update: She was discharged from the hospital, then wound up back in the ER within 12 hours. Surgery took place Saturday to clear the bowel blockage, and recovery was tough. She was put into Progressive Care Unit (anyone know what that even means?!) but as of this morning has thankfully been moved to a regular room.
