Dammit now Makeover week is going to be lame (other than Megan assuming she lives to see one more week).

I do think that if any of us was edited from 1+ week down to 10 mins we could be portrayed as pretty much anything. Whiner, coffee addict, whatever.

ratherbeswimming - 2012-03-16 7:14 AM Tara Costa is in my USAT coaching clinic this weekend

Please befriend her so we can ask her all the BL secrets through you!

Or direct her to this thread so we can ask for ourselves.  Wink

Yeah, if she's going to be a USAT coach she should hang out here!

I told her about the mentor program.

tri808 - 2012-03-15 10:59 AM I actually think Chris is the X factor that might sneak up out of nowhere to win the show if they allow her to make the finals thinking she isn't a threat.  She has the body potential to lose 50% and get down to 120 if she really tried.  It would take some massive dehydration...but it was done before in that famous season 7 by Helen when she came out of nowhere to win...when nobody saw her as a threat.

I agree, she's similar in size to Ali from Season 5...

She needs to win!! I think there would be some home repairs in order.

Yeah, but I still can't get over her whining!  I just can't be happy about her winning!

Kimmy has a twitch...what is up with that?

I still don't like Conda.  Even if she's not causing drama anymore.

Not surprised Kimmy is gone...I mean, she didn't have much left to lose.

Why is Mark suddenly trying to be friends with Kim?  Does he realize when it comes to Mark/Conda he's odd man out?

This episode made me want to go to Hawaii.

Kim needs to find motivation other than competition or she'll gain it all back.

I'm done.

Kuoloa Ranch looked every bit as beautiful as when we were there in Dec.  I want to go back too.  They need to flip on Conda/Jeremy or they'll be the ones out.  I think if it came down to those tow in the end, Jeremy would probably give it up to Conda (again).

Still dont like Konda.....she's appears lazy!  She ticked me off with her comment about finding the death lei to take herself out so she wont have to do hill repeats.   Seriously?  Really?  bye-bye!  She don't deserve to be there!

Kim's comment about people coasting through the competition was so right on.

Yep.  It's very survivor-like.

Wait, the shows are quite similar...people lose weight and there is lots of backstabbing....

I couldn't stop ooh-ing and aaah-ing over the gorgeous water, sand, and flora of Hawaii.  Loved that they brought Bethany Hamilton on - great attitude, great personality, great talent.

I'm glad Kimmy is gone.  Personally, I think she was starting to show a different personality, and not a good one that came along with her weight loss.  At times I see some of the same new, not-nice attitude in Chris, too.  Reminds me of some people I know who did a local Biggest Loser contest at the gym, lost ~100 lbs and now dress slutty and are cheating on their husbands because they think they are all that and a bag of chips.  Totally changed people, physically and mentally.

Kim and Mark are pretty much doomed not to be overall winners - they just don't have that much to lose anymore.  Although I would like to see Kim stick around. I was really surprised that Kim had a 7 lb. loss this week.

Kudos to Buddy for losing 6 lbs. even with his stress fracture.  He is one of the few people I consistently like and root for.  He just seems like a genuinely good guy.

Totally agree with the not putting in the effort comment.  Conda and Megan sandbag regularly and it drives me (and Kim, ha ha) nuts.

Rooting for Jeremy, too, although 'spoiling' his already entitled-feeling sister is getting old.  Maybe that's how she got to be the way she is: people constantly doing things for her (so she expects it) and disregarding their own needs.  Feeding the virus.

very much a game at this point, I was actually surprised that they sent kim home and let megan stay but thats just me. Also, is anyone kinda getting sick and tired of all the "not so incognito sponsor plugs" going on throughout the show? I mean I know that you need to plug your sponsors and all but it just seems to me that over the last few seasons, they are doing more and more in each episode. Anyone take their picks for a winner yet?

It's so hard to pick a winner.  Even the most deserving could have ONE bad weigh in and get eliminated.  I mean, what if conda and Jeremy both have a bad weigh in one week?  Whatever would the house do?????

Very telling that NOBODY put a thing on Conda's Tiki for the first third of the competition (or more). She is invincible, and I don't know why. She does not get the overall point of the show of losing weight. Mark grew on me a little bit during the last episode, and I lost all respect for Jeremy (not that there was much left to begin with). I'd be curious to see how the challenge played itself out if Kim had found the "death lei"--which of the Fab Five would she have chosen to ostracize? I'm really hoping for a week where green team falls below the yellow line. Maybe they could start doing 3 people below the yellow line?

Is it bad that I'm ready for a new season to start because I don't really like any of the remaining contestants? Even Buddy is in Conda's pocket. C'mon Buddy.

I know what you are saying, but at the same time I am holding out for Conda and Mark to be sent home in some dramatic fashion.

I loved how Conda reacted when everyone said that Jeremy "gave" her the win.  Indignant much?  She can't possibly think that she earned it, right?  Wish the challenges wouldn't lend themselves to the team approach.

My 14 year old son wanted to know why they all look so much smaller at the weigh-ins than they do throughout the rest of the show.  Never thought I'd have to explain Spanx.

Still pulling for Buddy but I have new respect for Kim for at least telling it is.

I dont think they actually showed who Kim voted for....I wonder if she had the stones to actually vote for Megan after her speech when she KNEW that everyone else would vote Kimmy.  It seemed like she tried to save face with the group with a big "I love you Kimmy" at the end - I didnt expect that  - I thought it had come out that they didnt like each other.

Any speaking of that... Can't really understand why she threw it on Kim when Kim already had 5 or so lei's on her. Everyone knew she was being targetted. Could have killed 2 birds pretty quickly.

As well, Megan is driving me nuts.... When the surfer girl first appeared, and Megan said in an interview "Bethany is my idol/hero" or whatever she said.  Really??? You are a farm girl from Missouri. I couldn't imagine that she even knew of Bethany. Shouldn't someone like Taylor Swift be her hero?

Where have you been? BL has been a infomercial since day one. Product placement ads in the show are where it's at these day. Can't FF through all the comercials.
