Daremo not sure since mine is a 51. I didn't ask about the full size range.

51 was as small as they go. Best to just call and ask.

I spoke with them and they said they had plenty of 57's (they don't make a 58) in the Varese as an fyi.

No go on the bike ...... if I was single it would be a different story.

(Not that I need another one right now ... the ones I have are barely getting used).

the bear

Thanks for posting this.  I was looking out for a deal on a new or used bike for a friend of mine and this fit the bill perfectly.  He ordered his Parma this morning.

Does anyone know if the Parma come with any type of pedal?  I am guessing not, but thought I would check.

Did anyone ask how much assembly is involved? I don't want to bug them again.

If it is anything like a normally packaged bike from a manufacturer you will have to put on the wheels, bar/stem, maybe a few cables and tune everything up.  If you choose not to do it yourself and take it to a shop, expect to pay in the $40 - 60 range.

If they are just sending the frame/fork and a packaged groupo, there is a lot more involved and you can expect about double the price ...... I don't think that is what they will be doing, but you never know.

Just bought my fiance a Garda, I'm guessing it should suffice to get her through the season until we can pick up a tri bike on sale at the end of this year. Can't wait to show her, she doesn't know yet.

Mine were delivered today - I ordered them on Friday.  It came with the back wheel attahed to the frame, handlebars off, seatpost off but seat attched to the seatpost, shifter and brake levers attached to the bars, but all of the drive train is disconnected and must be assembled.  All of th cable routing must be done.  I guess I have a weekend project.

How did they ship the bike to you?  We ordered ours today and I was wonderin' if they will come through the postal system or UPS.

I ordered my new bike on Monday!!

I can't wait to get it, and I will definitely post some pictures.

How much work is it going to be to assemble the bike? I have a decent amount of experience working on my mountain bike, but I have never put one together before. I would really like to do it myself, becasue I feel like I would learn better that way, but is there a chance I could really mess it up?

I can't imagine it being that difficult.  I ordered a bike online and had to put on the pedals seat and bars.  The cabling was all hooked up though.

Wow, for 599, the Fara looks to be a good choice to replace my aging road bike!  I did not receive the Javelin team member sale invite by email.  Is this only available to US citizens?  I am Canadian, eh!

Mine arrived (Fara) and while it's still unassembled it looks like it's going to be a great bike.

I think I'm going to wuss out and take it somewhere to be assembled as it's my first "nice" bike and I don't want to screw it up before I can even ride it and I probably would want to have a tune-up anyway.

I was pleased to see it's a nice gel-leather italia (w/ cut out) seat too BTW.

I recieved mine and am having it put together by my LBS. I already ride a Narni, she is my race bike. The Sizzano is going to be my training bike. My local (closest LBS ) doesn't really like to work on Campy but he is all over the Shimano, so the Sizzano with the Shimano groupset will work for my more frequent rides to train. I have had my Narni since last year and just love her and their bikes are really well made and I love not riding the same Cervelo, Specialized that everyone else has. Not that there is any thing wrong with the above named bikes, I  just like something a little different. I'll post a pic of my Javelins when I get the new one put to together. I can't wait.
