First of all.  EXCELLENT challenge idea.

Secondly, can I just cheer on a team this month?  I have so many random bricks that I'm confused just looking at plan, much less trying to add percentages.  I've also pretty much already hit my peak training for my races on May 31 and June 7.  All that's left is piecing the puzzle together and winding down.  In other words, I have no clue how much I'm going to do or not do.

Okay... long story short.  I'm Bill from Mississippi and I'm gonna show up and cheer for, and hopefully offer any advice to, the Southern USAers.

Totally fine for you to just cheer -- although don't worry about calculating the percentages. The wonder of spreadsheets will take care of that!

Hi all,

I'm recording your goals as you state them. You'll always be able to adjust them upward, but reductions after the first week due to sickness, travel, etc. will need to be approved. I'm not yet sure how the teams will be formed but it will definitely be by geographic grouping.

We will need to clarify on whether strength training is included in the challenge. Stay tuned!

CHR15 TREE - 2008-04-28 2:36 AM

Erm... I think I understand... pretty much as the april challenge, i.e. individual S B R goals but bonuses for bricks, woodies and races??? correct???

If so count me in! I've not go much on the horizon for multisport races or even brick sessions but I need a challenge to get me through my Bike mileage for the month.

My goals

S - 5000metres

R - 40miles

and wait for it....

B - 700miles

Chris...Chris....Chris....how many times do I have to tell you that woodies...mean a whole different thing in these here parts!   but I will let you explain your way out of this one!

I wish they all could be California, I wish they all could be California, I wish they all could be California GIRLS!!!!

The West coast has the sunshine
and the girls all get so tan,
I dig a french bikini on Hawiian Island dolls,
by a palm tree in the sand.
I been all round this great big world
and I seen all kinds of girls,
yeah, but I couldn't wait to get back in the states,
back to the cutest girls in the world.

OK...NORTHERN CALIFORNIA GIRL WOULD BE ME!

not sure of goals as of yet...will get back to you with these.

As shocking as it may be, I would love to be on a chatty team Nicole! not sure what the mix will be but love those Seattle gals! if at all possible would love to be on their teams...ie Medusa_Ann, Chikopiakomak, lyssa-gator....

Thanks Nicole and Gill for setting this one up and doing all the organizing!
