Police Officer, but I retire next year and need to find me a retirement job.  Maybe a personal trainer, but not sure if "working" in my "play" area is a good idea.

I have a BA in Art and a BA in Journalism, and an MLitt (MA) in Decorative Arts and Design History. I'm unemployed right now, as I unfortunately got out of graduate school in a really really bleak period for museums. I'm doing some "interning" and volunteering a number of museums, doing mostly museum collections management, also known as being a registrar. Museum registrars assist curators and other staff with selecting works for exhibition, arranging for conservation, monitoring environmental factors in storage, arranging loans, receiving loans, arranging deaccessions and acquisitions, and overseeing couriers. Basically, I make sure your Monet or your 15th century stained glass window is where it's meant to be, that it's cleaned regularly, that it's handled properly, and that if it's sold, it goes with all its paperwork in order.

Patient Coordinator for a non profit Cancer Clinic. (It means I schedule patients initial consult which includes gathering all the previous records and data on their diagnosis.) I also have to semi babysit some of the doctors I work with to keep them happy. This is a very re-warding job for now but in truth not what I want to do with my life not to mention that it is very depressing (especially when you spend all that time scheduling and establishing a relationship with a patient only for them to take a turn for the worse a month later...sigh). Hence I am getting my pre-reqs cleared in order to start towards my Masters in Education fall of 2010 to become a high school Biology/Ecology/Anatomy/science teacher. Can't wait for that!

I've been a paramedic for 7 years now.  I have an Assc. degree in Paramedic Technolgy and a BS in Health and Behavioral science.  The best part of my job is during the busy summer season when I get the title of bike paramedic, and get to ride a mountain bike around town for several hours carrying an extra 30lbs of equipment.  I love my job!

I am a US Army Soldier.  I just recently changed from Infantry and became a Career Counselor which is a really big change, but it is a better direction for post military than doing nothing but fighting and patroling.  My current job involves counseling, human resources, marketing, advertising, and lots of public relations.  It's a good job though and the biggest benefit is I am able to finally work more on my degree and spend a little more time with the family.
