Thanks so much for the responses and for sharing your views, and being honest.

I think making it $50/year to access the training logs would be a great solution.
We already have that payment setting created, and we can (hopefully simply) pull the training logs underneath the umbrella of things that are available to that membership level.

As others have already posted, if that doesn't work for you, you can export your logs for free.
And the forums and articles will remain free.

I can also consider accepting ads for broader products. I've always been strict about upholding Ron's prior standard of no ads for supplements or CBD or things like that ... only triathlon-specific products and no supplements. That will make the ad blocks a little less appealing, but it would also raise money. It sounds like you all would understand if I loosened the standards there.

For those willing to pay, please upgrade to a Bronze Membership if you aren't already, and if you don't want to do that, go ahead and export your data so you don't lose access to it.

Glad there's been a decision. I've signed up for a Bronze membership for the time being. Is there going to be some sort of obvious post, direct message, or announcement on the main page about this? I fear not everyone pays attention to the Forums and might one day be surprised to log in and find all of their stuff gone!

When do we need to sign up and pay by? End of month? End of year?

I did just learn that the process of making the training logs a paid feature will cost about $5,500.

Given that, I'm asking that folks voluntarily upgrade for now (thank you so much! So many of you have!) and I will try to drum up some advertising that might pay for the cost of making that change.
