Champion 7821 Brooklyn, NY | Subject: RE: Homeland on Showtime I used to think the Mole was Sol, but I think that would almost be too obvious at this point, and it’s clearly not Estes. I think Sol’s right. Brody is a terrorist. What he learned from Nasir was how to manipulate people, and that’s what he’s done to everyone, especially Carrie. I think it’s telling that the two most senior people in the CIA, Estes and Sol, are the two who remained convinced that he’s still on the side of the terrorists, while the less experienced people, Carrie and Quinn, are convinced of his innocence. I didn’t quite get the timeline for last night. So Carrie drove from DC to the Canadian Border and back? That’s got to be close to a 24-hour round trip. No one, especially not Saul, is going to believe that her disappearance for that long wasn’t somehow related to Brody. There’s a great column that runs every week on Grantland.com. Go to the site and search “Homeland”. |

I can;t wait for Season 3 That was weird, the pacing for a season finale was so "off," everyone just kinda slowly going thru the motions. I figured *something* big had to happen, but that was a surprise. I have a feeling it's gonna be kinda hard to follow the twists and turns.... But a question - the storage facility admission tape - I know Saul had it taken in Syrian customs, but had another copy. Is that correct? If so what happened to Saul's copy? yes that's correct. although, you never find out if the disck that was taken was blank or had the admission, but i was kinda wondering the same thing. but, he showed it to a slew of people in the CIA when he got back so it could have come from anyone. i'm assuming his copy became property of the CIA. i will say though, the last scene of Saul speaking the foreign language (not sure if it was arabic, hebrew, or what)with the bodies got me wondering again... |

I was very disappointed in last night's episode and think the show may have jumped the shark. By the time next season rolls around I may not even care about it anymore. |

Champion 7821 Brooklyn, NY | Subject: RE: Homeland on Showtime It was circling the shark tank, but, even though last night’s episode had its problems, I don’t think it’s jumped yet. I think that if Carrie had run off with Brody that would have been death for the show. Ugh—imagine that? We’d have an entire season of Saul and Quinn and that other Black Ops guy pursuing them across the globe and each episode they’d almost catch them, but they’d have some increasingly implausible escape at the last second. It would be like “24” meets “Thelma and Louise.” |

Maybe in Season 3 they will get the camera footage and find out who it was, we don't know yet! Plus, if you have ever watched any cop show, then you know it is not realistic! |

it is more BEFORE the explosion that I wondered about wandering - afterwards, if they left quickly enough, the chaos from the explosion and 200 dead could explain their getting out. suspension of disbelief is required for movies and tv..... |

This. I thought the finale was so absurd, and I have to suspend disbelief so much I just rolled my eyes. I stared at the TV and was like WTF? For example, with basically insurmountable evidence (even planted) how is Brody going to get out from under the frame up? The video is out, so even if he IS innocent the public won't believe it. If I really try to put my finger on it, I'm not looking forward to an ENTIRE season of just watching him on the run and "almost" getting caught every week. That's what Dexter turned into, and it get's a bit annoying week after week. That's what I see S3 being set up for, IMO |
