Subject: RE: TH3_FRB cycling accidentIndeed sad news as this year looked to be his year. Warm thoughts and prayers for a successful surgery and quick recovery. How do you leave the scene of an accident after striking someone? What goes on in their head? "Ooh, I hope I get away with this and do not get into trouble for causing that person to be mangled and bleeding on the side of the road?" (Better hope that nary a cyclist or runner is on that jury pool!) More important, though, is that he is (relatively) okay. If you think folks were rooting for him during the marathon, you ain't seen nothin' yet! |
