Very familiar with soleus injuries since I've had 4 since the age of 40! Now old (46 ), I know that CYCLE/Spinning will speed recovery. My last pull occurred last summer. Pulled it so bad (stupidity involved ) there was swelling and bruising. After two weeks of aggressive CYCLE classes (3-4 / week ) I competed in a sprint triathlon (ran 30 sec/mi slower then normal pace, but ran! ). Was fully recovered and running again in 4-weeks. This was no marathon, but believe in the blood volume turnover and "muscle flush" that occurs in CYCLING. Hope this helps. At a minimum CYCLE will make you faster!
