Pennsylvania | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser DougRob - 2012-02-01 9:51 AM pmruns - 2012-02-01 8:37 AM Conda loses 2 pounds and no one votes for her? Really? ^^This! She is a cancer on the red team. She really needs to grow up! On a season of no excuses se apparently is all excuses. Look to yourself and SHUT UP! Maybe she should have approached Adrian and said that she and her brother share the same situation as Adrian and his sister and then try to befriend him. Even if he is a threat to her and she wants him gone. At least that would show some strategy. Instead all she spews is insecurities that a 5 year old would exhbit. And the other red team girl that hates Adrian (I do not remember her name) has the scariest stare! If either of these women win, I will stop watching this show cold turkey! ^^Both of these!! I yell at the red team weekly to vote Conda off but they don't seem to hear me. And they don't see how confused and irritated I am when they send away people who are 'strong enough to do it on their own' and not the weakest link. I mean, I get the feel-good rationale behind it, but bottom line, whether they choose to admit it or not, it is a game. The better you and your team do at the game, the longer you will stay (generally). |

Champion 7821 Brooklyn, NY | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser It’s amazing to me that no one on the Red team has voted for Conda. She’s poisonous to the team, and pulls lousy numbers most of the time. The only explanations I can come up with are either A) It’s all creative editing and she’s really not as bad as she’s being portrayed or B) everyone’s scared of her, especially now that she’s formed this little toxic alliance with Kim, who’s almost as bad as Conda. It’s horrible to see the way Conda gets people in her crosshairs for no good reason, and manipulates the entire team to send them home. And when there’s no one that she doesn’t like, particularly, she gets everyone to vote for someone else who doesn’t particularly deserve it. I knew Nancy was going home for the way she called Conda and Kim out. (Although to be fair, she wasn’t contributing much.) I don’t think Kim or Conda will win. Conda’s too lazy and eventually her bs will catch up with her. Kim is all about excuses, too. If the winner comes from the Red team, it’ll be one of the guys, I think. |

Veteran 241 Waterloo, IL | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I know Adrian came in with kind of a strong personality, but Conda is that girl in junior high who thought she ruled the playground. She needs to go and watch the fireworks when that happens. I figured it would be Nancy since she called out the children for there poor behavior. I don't know how Dolvet puts up with her. I would think he would have a little powwow with the team and suggest they remove that cancer. |

Extreme Veteran 502 ARLINGTON | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Conda reminds me of how my wife's middle school children act in class: entitled and disrespectful. The producers must love her, but WHY WHY WHY does her team continually let her slide by? With the exception of the 10 lb week last week, she's been a hinderence to the team in EVERY way possible. ...and what is with the names this year??? Conda? Chism? Too many jokes...so little time... |

Member 131 Connecticut | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I assumed that Conda targeted Nancy as a way to get back at Cassandra for whoopin' her butt in those 1-on-1 challenges. I can't believe that anyone listens to Conda - her method of declaring this "disrespect" and therefore putting others on the defensive appears very easy to spot. Then her whiny crying (probably fake) whenever she is looking for sympathy. I can't stand her and just cant believe people put up with it. I think Adrian made some mistakes but the whole attitude towards the newcomers was pathetic - "be quiet and listen more" - I would have been offended at that also. However it seems that his fate is sealed now - they all can't stand him especially after the comments at the end. Chris |

Veteran 221 | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Poor Nancy sure needed to make it to make-over week! I have to agree that as soon as she called out Conda and Kim, she was going. Conda seems to have latched right on to Kim, almost like a puppy. Was anyone else rooting for Conda to fall off the back of the treadmill when they were sprinting?

Totally thought that's what they were building to. Completely disappointed when it didn't happen. |

Veteran 219 College Station, Texas | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Im not sure I can keep watching this season, IT SUCKS, the WHOLE red team is pathetic, the new guys need atleast a week for their body to match what they are doing/changing, bagging on them for a small loss was just stupid, I really cant get excited about anyone Black or Red to win. |

Expert 1019 Muncie, IN | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Adrian losing 2 pounds was a little shocking but only until the rest of the team weighed in. What was their excuse. Red team had a miserable weigh-in and Adrian was par for the course relative to the others. Way, maybe he did load up on water, but he still basically matched the others on the team except the guy who was gone last week. They were totally unreceptive to Adrian and I too would be honked at them. They seemed like a middle school group that felt threatened by a new kid...instead of welcoming him and then smoothing off any rough edges / commentary. The guy lost 35 pounds at home and, what they all seemed to forget, was that he hung with all of them through the workout and was the only one to make it across the monkey bars. Then Conda said that it was one of the easier workouts. Uh huh. She is still 13 years old and is still every bit the immature _ _ _ _ _ that she obviously was then too. Conda's treatment of Adrian is actually probably more civil than it would be if his sister had ended up on the red team. She has got to go. |

Elite 6387 | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Not watching every week... but CAN'T STAND Conda. Can't understand why she is still there. Can't really add anything to what has been said 100 times over. I was with Adrian up until the end. Thought he was OK... but wow... he really does not know when to keep his mouth shut. He should understand it is up to him to "get in" with the group not their job to take him. And then saying his thing when he was immune, and writing Mark's name down for spite and wanting to argue when someone is going home.... totally totally wrong move. No way to defend that. He better start winning some weigh ins. |

Expert 758 Port Colborne, Ontario | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser As far as Adrian & her sister low numbers I have a couple other theories; 1) They might have dehydrated themselves before weighing in at the ranch when they got back to make sure they got their 50 lbs; 2) The change in diet at the ranch could have caused a hiccup, etc. Conda is still a bytch and wouldn't last 2 mins with me in the room. I'd have the rest of the team voting off the minute it was possible. I like how that Mark dude is on Adrian's azz about the low number yet, he only lost 2 lbs also...what's his excuse? |

Champion 5312 Calgary | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I haven't finished watching this episode left, think I am 30 min in. It is horrible. I can't believe they are going to kick off Nancy. What a bunch of fools. What I got was them being so critical of these people at the beginning. Even Ali was rolling her eyes. I think part of it was that they were tired from the last chance workout and tired from the weigh in (which remember takes like 2 hours to film) and tired from the elimination. So I get it, everyone is tired. But come on, these guys got on the ranch, of course they are excited, of course they are acting like a couple kids. Sure, maybe not the best strategy, but give these people a break. MAYBE even share a bit of their joy instead of standing there like a bunch of prisoners (although they did probably feel that way with being so tired). I cannot wait to see Conda go. That. Is. Going. To. Be. The. Best. |

Champion 10019 , Minnesota | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Actually, I see why they voted off Nancy. In this stage of things, they should vote of those who cannot contribute to the challenges. Nancy never even does a challenges, laying an unfair burden on her team. That doesn't explain past votes, though, like Mike and Lauren. They totally have it backwards. They should have done Nancy first, then Conda. For her size, Conda sucks at this game! There is not one single reason to keep her. Haven't these people ever watched the show? geesh. |

Elite 4108 Calgary,AB,Canada | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser My wife calls her Ana-Conda.... She's 23. Has a 6 or 7 year old. So just guessing --- lives at home with mom and dad and has been babied her whole life. And probably moreso since she had the kid. Lots of people in the world like that. But wow just a biiiiaaatch. And Kim. The former wrestler. I thought I would like her at the start of the season, but same as Conda. Its easier to cut others down, that actually address your own issues. At some point you have to ask yourself -- Why do I not get along with anyone? Is there something wrong with EVERY OTHER PERSON in the world, or could it possibly be me?
And new guy - 14 hr/day working out for a month?? Really? |

Pro 4339 Husker Nation | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Why Conda is still on the show is beyond me. I'm sure they're probably filming "Makeover Week" this week, but I still want to call the ranch and talk some sense into those fools! I was appalled at the attitudes of the competitors who were on the ranch when Aqua got it done and got back on the show. And for Kimmy to be upset that they did, claiming that "we all had the same opportunity to make it on the show and they didn't" or whatever, HELLOO, you heard them say they had another shot to get back in! Stupid! How's this for food for thought: Adrian has lost 36 lbs, 9.7% of his TBW. Chism has lost 43 lbs, 11.9% of his TBW. Conda has lost 31 lbs, 10.5%, Kimmy has lost 26 lbs, 11.8%, and Daphne has lost 27 lbs, 9.9%. So they're a little bit behind, but by no means inadequate. In fact if I were on one of the teams getting one of the aqua players I would be ecstatic - if they could lose those numbers while at home, imagine what they'll be able to do on the ranch! Who the heck cares of he claims he worked out 14 hours a day at 9mph with a 6% incline, doesn't matter. Show me what you can do, let's pull together and kick the other team's butt! The thing I found most interesting is that despite having worked out with Dolvett, neither of them wanted him to be their trainer. Is it the Bob mystique? Was there a clash with Dolvett while he was there working with them? Just seemed weird to me. I know I personally would feel some kind of loyalty to the person who came and helped me get back on the show. Unless they were a total tool off-camera, in which case then I could understand. |

Champion 5312 Calgary | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser you know though, conda might be playing it cool. She is a big girl. If she can stay around while not really cutting a lot weight then when it gets down to the nitty gritty she may be able to stay above the yellow line and even get immunity for being the biggest loser. I doubt it, I think she is lazy. But I think if she can turn it around she will be tough to get out down the road. |

They didn't make it on the ranch because they lost one instant challenge. Tell me Kim, how many challenges have you lost since then? Should you have been kicked off the ranch? And if I was Adrian, I would have brought up the percentages in a heartbeat. Conda has been there with Dolvett for 4 weeks. He was at home on his own WITH family to deal with. Yet he's trailing her weight loss percentage by less than .5%. Of course, Adrian pretty much lost me when he opened his mouth at the elimination. Up to that point, I didn't take issue with him speaking up and defending himself and his right to be there. |

Pro 4339 Husker Nation | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Another thing I thought of. When the black team lady (Santa's wife) was offering some compliments to Chism and Jeremy, they both acted very immature. Sure, it seemed a little corny, but I wonder if their response was more an indication of the fact that they don't know how to accept a compliment, by virtue of the fact that they might not have had a whole lot of compliments growing up. So naturally they would feel awkward with someone praising them, or in BT terms "giving them an inspire". Makes me wonder, and if true, kinda sad. |

Veteran 297 Kansas | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I am a pretty straight-forward no excuse kind of person, while my wife (being a lot smarter than me) always seems to get what is going on behind the scenes. We watch Intervention, Horders or Biggest Loser together, and I am the one saying "just suck it up, stop complaining, do it ..." She will be the first to point out, "I bet their mother was ... or I bet their Dad did ..." Sure enough, everytime there is something (usually bad) in the person's past that really made them who they are now. Some people cope better than others and can get past events more easily, others turn into addicts, horders, OCD, and maybe even severely overweight. I guess what I am trying to remember when I watch this show is that I expect these people to think, talk and react like I or other "normally functioning" (whatever that means) people would. If they were "normal" though, they wouldn't be there in the first place. Not rocket science, as the show is always playing clips of the trainers trying to mentally figure out the contestants, but with Connda, who drives me bananas, is as someone said above, has probably been enabled, defended and coddled by the very people who should have been teaching her responsibility, self-awareness, self-respect ... etc. - her parents. You can just imagine how many times she has been told in her life that its not her fault, its the other person. So, she grows up getting offended by nearly everyone she comes into contact with. That being said, there would be a lot of bleeping going on if she rolled her eyes at me as much as she does everyone else. |

And then holy POTS, Batman...if one more low-losing contestant complained about the aqua team's low numbers again I was going to throw something at the TV! I hate Conda. That is all. |

They wouldn't have known WHEN, but didn't Allison tell them in front of everyone that if they lost 50 pounds in 1 month, they would get in the game? Even if they didn't know that, if a guy came in late who had worked his tail off AT HOME to make it back, I would have been impressed and tried to help him - ya, it's a game, but it's also the rest of their life. No one gained a bunch of weight in order to get on the Biggest Loser in order to lose the weight to win $250,000. |
