So many birthdays - mine was Saturday, but I was out at the beach. I like mushrooms and sausage on my pizza. But I'll pretty much eat any kind of pizza. I'm not picky. I had buffalo chicken pizza this weekend that was divine. Way to go on being first! Hope I can add to the totals this week and push us way out front. |

There's NO good deep dish in Alaska. There almost no good pizza, really. A place in Anchorage, called Moose's Tooth, has pretty decent thin crust, but even that is 6+ hours away. I miss pizza. :-( **pizza shortage toppage** That's very sad....I don't know what I would do without pizza although I would probably be a bit thinner!! LOL |

I wasn't planning on training much the week after my race when I set that goal. I'll have to adjust it to give me something to shoot for in the final week. I'm thinking I should raise it to 75-80mi... Way to lead the way Dr. Bob!! |

Cool water and there were tons of bats swooping over the water around me catching bugs. At first I really didn't know what they were because they were so fast and it was pretty dark. They went right down to the water surface. and you could hear the wizz of their wings. Sounds creepy. I would have been hyperventilating or just plain drowning!! I don't like being in ANY water when it's dark (except my pool). |
