It actually cooled down a bit and even sprinkled a touch of rain on my run this evening. Vry nice.

Not enough rain to get anything wet, but enough to cool down those 96-degree days we've had the past week.

patient just called the emergency line, to first complain of some symptoms that she had called the office about supposedly.
then starts telling me what is going on, it is 7:30PM. I tell her that if her pain is that bad she would need to go to the ER, as I had no magic way of evaluating her over the phone. She then complained that her dr's office did not respond to her phone calls - I said wait, you called I answered - then she said she had left me a message in the office - I said I was out and I make it CLEAR on my VM that it is not for urgent calls!
so I told her that if it was urgent she should have spoken to staff ,my NP was seeing patients...that if that was not good enough there were plenty of other drs in the boston area. then she starts saying I was late once and canceled once - here I am at home - I told her when she said that she had left me a message that I was out due to having emergency surgery and she is b!tching at me? I told her she would best of finding another dr and to have a good night.

I need this shite?

I watched my dad deal with that for 18 years before I went to college. When people ask me why I had no interest in medicine I basically tell them that story. I can't understand why it's something that people can live with until 5:01 and then they refuse to go talk to the people in the ER.

Yeah..the cell phone does not take great pictures.

It's a titanium frame, so it's just brushed titanium (silver).
