Mine either - glad it's not a me issue. It worked fine yesterday, today not so much, so i did a manual upload of the file.

Janyne,

I have the Air Relax and went up a size. Works fine.

I didn't get the bag, but if you will travel with them regularly, I can see how the bag could be beneficial. The legs and cables are pretty bulky.

Anyone watch IM Frankfurt today?? Kienle had glass removed from his foot in T2 and Frodeno checked on him before leaving T2 to run. And then Sarah True. Omg...how heartbreaking. This is her 2nd 'event' on the run where she's blacked out and needed medical attention. I believe both races were hot (Cairns and Frankfurt) so hoping it's not something medically wrong and just a heat acclimatization thing since she lives & trains in New England (though I don't know if she travels to train like others do).

I saw the Kienle-Frodeno thing on FB and thought how is there glass in transition?! Didn't see about Sara True, that's scary! If it's a heat acclimatization thing, she needs to come train in Clermont

I don't know if this will work, but here's the video of Sarah True. 7 minute lead and 1/2 mile from the finish. I'm gutted for her, but she clearly needed medical...

Also glad to know it's not a me or my watch issue, I hope they fix this soon.

It looks like there's finally an offical date -- May 17 -- for IM 70.3 Chattanooga 2020.

Ooof, that is so tough to watch. The commentary on that video is a bit strange...sounds like one guy was about to say that the fellow athlete who caught her arm "put a block" on her progress. I understand wanting to win and being so close, but she absolutely needed medical help. Once you get to that point, it can be so detrimental. That guy didn't "block" her....he may have saved her.

It was very hard to watch..... I read later that she was less than a km away from the finish line, leading with 7 minutes gap. She said she did not remember anything for the last two miles.
It was also mentioned that she collapsed last month and I think last year too, so she should either check her overall health (which she has probably done), or work on nutrition and pacing. I can only imagine how hard it is to pace yourself when you are so close to the win, and all that you are focused on is winning.
I hope she recovers quick and is ready for her next race.

Things that make you go, "Huh?"

I have a friend training for IMLOU. She's finished Augusta 70.3 five or six times, she finished IM-Maryland the year the swim was canceled, but DNF at IM-LOU in 2017 on the 2nd lap of the run.

I mentioned to her how beneficial my Master's swim workouts have been. $50/year for exceptional coaching Mon-Fri is you want as well as a butt kicking workout. I stopped at her place of employment today to pick something up from her, and mentioned again that she should consider it. Here's the response:

Her: "I can't swim at the Aquatics Center when it's set to Long Course meters."

Me: "Uh...is there a reason why?"

Her: "I can't swim that far."

Me: "What do you mean you can't swim that far?"

Her: "I can't catch my breath in the 50 meter length."

At this point I'm totally scratching my head. I mean, I get that not having the 2 extra push offs and the extra 10 yards makes it a little harder, but wouldn't that be a good thing before jumping into the Ohio River and swimming 4200???

haha, yeah that's a bit odd! L-ville is usually wet suit legal (now that it;s in OCtober), so is she relying on the wetsuit to keep her from drowning?!

Ann-Marie,

She JUST did a half iron distance race in May that was not wetsuit legal. Her current swim workouts are 2500-2800 in the 25 yard pool at the Y. It's not like she can't swim or doesn't have endurance. I'm just so confused.

hmm, maybe she’s like me- I know I should do masters and get my butt kicked bc the swim is by far my weakest discipline, but bc it is my weakest I hate working it!
