It's 30F and the sun is shining!!! My mood is improving. The expected high today is 60. Expected high on Saturday -- 75!!!! Woohoo!

I want to know who slept in the blue Pak n Play. Curled/twisted/bunched up in there might have affected his rest. It's hard to do a full mile on poor sleep...especially when you can't drink extra coffee

That's great! But then I opened it... and all I saw was that Jayhawk. My in-laws are huge fans and my kids have shirts, hats, and even a little dress from them. Makenna will pick out her "Ja-halk" dress on random days because it's "pwetty". They're brainwashing her already. LOL

One of the gifts/curses of an eidetic memory is the ability to recall almost all of the times and places and  emotions of every age that that one has experienced.     Hence the prefix mad. Mad in the way of a Hatter.

Okay, I need some Manatee help, stat!

I'm doing the opening speech/prayer for my Dad's memorial tomorrow. To have a young (relatively, that is the youngest) female doing this is highly unusual, but even more unusually, that's exactly how Pa would have wanted it.

Needs to be a completely neutral, nonsectarian prayer. We got any Universalists in the house?!

Anyway, I've prayed about the prayer and I'm sure I'll be given exactly the right things to say but I would love to hear your input on encouraging, respectful, even unusual or interesting things I might include.

So, I didn't drown in the pool last night!!!

Surprisingly I had more fitness than I expected. I am 100% sure I can't say the same for my form but I was able to finish the workout without the lifeguards jumping in!!!

I will say though, I think I had them a little nervous when I was attempting the drills. What a cluster.

*And just to emphasize how long it had been, I couldn't find my goggles because they were still in the sleeve of my wet suit from my last triathlon (that was August 2012 ...)
