With Macca out and Potts  with a penalty my pick of Alexander is looking better. Now if he can overcome the Germans.

Yup, but this year the Germans didn't get food poisining so they're still in the hunt.

Not too late, could call in a favor with an aid station worker Wink

The run seems it is going to be awesome... Sultan and Stadler have a 3-4 min lead on Crowie a Brown (prob the best runners out there), Llanos is with Sultan and the spanish guy can run. Lieto and Sindaballe are ahead but they need a bigger gap on this guys to have a chance. It seems the mary might get very interesting on the last 10 miles...

I know they've got some time to fill, but that was just ridiculous.

No kidding--they could've highlighted some AG'ers, taken a look at them, etc...

Both Sultan and Stadler can run, maybe not as fast as Brown and Alexander, but they can throw a 2:50 mary. It depends how much of an advantage the Germans have at T2, but having Llanos with them can help them to push them to run faster.

If you win Kona, can you come back anytime to race it? Asking cause they said Norman hasn't finished an IM since he won in 2006...

Winners qualify for the next Kona, everyone else has to earn their slot.

So what did Norman do to qualify this year then?

What's the men's marathon record?

Has anyone gone sub-2:40 before?

I don't think so but I am not that informed on IM history
