Master 7712 Orlando | Subject: RE: Mad Mutant Manatee Mentors 4--CLOSED cdban66 - 2013-04-30 1:24 PM Beer AND ice cream!!!!Asalzwed - 2013-04-30 1:35 PM rrrunner - 2013-04-30 12:32 PM So several months ago I let a friend borrow my 10 speed for their daughter who wanted to give triathlon a shot (her school has a team). Last night they came by to pick up DH's old MTB and brought back my 10 speed. Obviously I haven't been on it in quite a while. Pod-thoughts on using that for the 100k this weekend? Not road tested for quite a while, TT has the compact crank (and all the training hours). On another note... a local company has arranged a running series. There are 6 possible races, all have 5k to HM. If you run 4 of the six you get a "free" race series tech shirt. DS1 likes the idea. We already missed 1 so we have 5 opportunities. Two of them are evening ice-cream runs. I'll probably do it to help keep him motivated. The first is June 2. Maybe I can encourage him to do the last one as a 10k. Hmmmmmm 1. Sounds risky to me ... Unless you can get out on it in the next couple days. 2. I think the run series sounds awesome, and seriously, ice-cream runs? I think that's a no brainer. 1 - agreed 2 - agreed, only surpassed in awesome factor by BEER! |

I've done the Bike MS double century in my tri bike the past two years. |

Welllllllllllllll, looking at your logs, one of your longer rides was avg 21km/hr, and one was 27km/hr. If the 21km/hr avg is on flat then yes, I can pull you. If the 27km/hr was on flat, the only way you are going to get pace booty from me is if we slap a picture of my a$$ on some fast guy riding ahead of you. |

Most of that is on trainer and it will be increasing as temps climb... already having triple digits. I "feel" the stock saddle after about 30min on trainer, so figured time to find something more comfortable. I'm hoping DH will put it on tonight cuz I'm pretty excited to try it tomorrow bcraht - 2013-04-30 6:24 PM Asalzwed - 2013-04-30 2:51 PM jmkizer - 2013-04-30 4:47 PM 4agoodlife - 2013-04-30 5:42 PM Asalzwed - 2013-04-30 2:30 PM Yep!
