I just broke 2000 miles on my Transition. I know that there have to be some bikes out there with some crazy miles on them.

I have not ridden outside in over a month and am pretty much done for the year. But I'm at 3600 miles.

I only put a little over 1,000 on the Scott this year (bought the frame used in April) and about 600 on the Felt.

It was a light year .........

(Put a bit over 1,500-ish on the Felt last year and around 1,000 on the Giant that I replaced with the Scott frame).

7726 miles on my Trek this year.  A quick look at the training graphs and I've done just under 10,000miles on this bike since I've had it and it's still going strong

I have only around 2200 miles on my 2007 Kestrel Talon SL Aero for this year...and...I'm still racing...I will be around  3000 miles at the end of 2008.

My Javelin has about 600 miles on it, pretty much all since August 1.  I've put a little over 1000 on my Klein since I got it used, so I don't know how many were on it to begin with.

I bought the Lemond from a roadie in 2000 and he rode it for 2 years before I took over.  I have ridden it for 8...so I have no idea...but it is a lot.

I have a Felt B12 that I bought in January and have about 3400 miles on it.  I also have another 150 or so on a KHS mountain bike I use as a commuter bike for the year.

Not really sure how many miles are on my old Trek 1000.  I bought it in 1990 used from Stadium Bike.  I rode it pretty steady for a couple of years and then took a long sabbatical from exercising.  I put on about 500 this year.  But I am trying to convince my wife that I am going to take this triathlon training serious and let me buy a new tri bike.  A lot of good deals out there on the web right now.

I have 2200 miles on my OCR1 which was purchased halfway through 2005. I have about 600 miles on my QR Seduza that I bought in Nov 2007. I have spent much of 2007 and all of 2008 injured in one way or another, so mileage is low.

About 3000 (2690 of which are from this year). That makes the price about 50 cents per mile. Not bad, but not great. Need to get that lower, and IM training this year should make that easy

I have two bikes that I split my riding time.

2005 Surly Cross Check that I use for commuting and bad weather riding and some trail riding.

2006 Cervelo Soloist that I use for traing for and doing Triathlons, Group rides, and road racing.

Total Miles

Year: 2005 2006 2007 2008 Total

Surly Cross Check: 5200 3200 3400 3200 15000

Cervelo Soloist: 2200 2400 1800 6800

Whattever you do, don't then turn around and try to work that against your salary as well.  I always get into number games like this... I'm happy that my bikes have more than paid for themselves in gas savings, but then I look at the hours I'm on them, instead of doing something else.  But alas, it's better than being in the car that same amount of time.

I'm just over 1,400 miles since mid may on my 2008 P2SL....

If it stayed light longer and my kids weren't so busy in sports I would have hundreds more on it right now.

I plan to ride until it's below 20 outside, then it's the trainer....

Slight hijack: Do you track miles on a trainer? I contemplated moving my computer to the back wheel to see how far I'm "riding".....

Just a quick plug for my dad, hes not on this site but I've always been amazed at how someone can ride as much as he does. Hes is nearing 60 years old and has been riding roughly 30-50 miles every single day for the last...well I dont even know how long. Quite possibly 35-40 years.

His last bike had over 35,000 miles on it, and since his retirement his new bike is amounting miles very quickly. I am 24 years old and cannot even come close to keeping up to him..haha

My 2006 Trek Pilot:

2006 964 miles, 2007 3003 miles, 2008 3209 miles so far. Total 7176 miles. Wow that seems like a lot when you add it up like that. I thought I needed a new bike, now I am sure I need a new bike. I will schedule a meeting with my CFO (pronounced wife) tonight.
