Subject: RE: What am I missing here....Well, I suspect when they signed on for the show, they had a thought that (and I can see the producers not attempting to dissuade them of this ) the show would be more like a documentary, and it would stay at that. Seriously - if someone said they wanted to "document" my life, I'd think - "well, my life isn't that interesting" and I could make some quick cash and then drop out. Well, the show exploded, and suddenly there's all this "stardom" that I didn't expect and I wasn't fully prepared to handle it. I'm not trying to appologize for them, but I sincerely doubt they sat down with the producers and planned out a way to ruin their lives on the tv screen.
I also think that any camera person could put together 21 minutes a week of me being a bad father. Not because I'm a bad father 100% of the time, but certainly for 21 minutes I'm not at the top of my game.
