I never doubted for a moment that you would be as happy as you are on this day.  And for you to have friends who back you up 100% is even more wonderful.  My only regret is that I still haven't met you in person yet, so I'm tremendously jealous of the Whizzzzz right now!

Someday...someday...

You know the rest...so thanks for the help and advice with that too.

Congratulations and happy Coming Out Day.  I just read your blog.  How wonderful that your workplace has been so supportive.  What a great supervisor you have.  I wish you all the best on your first day at work as you.

Congratulations, Teagan! I have always said that the happiest people are the ones who are true to themselves, whatever and whoever that may be. The changes you have made in your life have taken tremendous courage and strength, and I wish you happiness now and in the future as your TRUE self.

Hi! Welcome back! I used to follow your blog before (I think I got there through Whizzz's blog one day...?) so I sort of knew what was going on in your life. I am so glad to see you are doing so well!! And you look fantastic! Great to have you back!

P.S. Because of your blog, every time someone says "Sophie," I say "Soapy" in my head and have a good smile. So cute.

Congrats...I am gay...also haven't trained much in the last year...and don't post much either...We have sooo much in common...

Happy Coming Out Day.

I came out while in the military...well as out as I could be without getting kicked out.  I finished my 4 years and got out, because I didn't want to lie.  I had lied to myself long enough, I refused to do it anymore even tho I loved being a sailor (all those men in uniform...LOL).

Kudos. Pretty ballsy to make an announcement to so many people, especially fairly early on in the process.

I have a friend who is MtF TG, and I've seen/heard just a bit of the struggle and I know it isn't easy. Hell, I'm a friend and I can't even use a consistent pronoun....use "he" and "she" in the same sentence.

Most know 'him', but some of us know about her.  Doesn't plan to present full time as female until she relocates somewhere.  Too many people know 'him' around here yada yada....  Then there's 2 names to keep track of for awhile. Those of us that are friends know the real identity, but we have to keep track of the old one too.

I wonder if training would slow things down for you, like complicating hormone therapy.  Guess I have yet another topic to google when I get bored later...

You made an announcement in a pretty accepting place here.  Be careful though, still a lot of hate out there in the world.

Happy birthday, Teagan!  : )  And Happy Coming Out Day to all my people!  I can remember when NCOD was just started.  This society certainly has come a long, long way in that time.

Thank you, everyone.

I've been amazed at how friends and family have reacted to my "news."  I was hesitant to post this, as I've been scared every step of the way... but I should have known better, especially here.  BT is a great place with fantastic people.  Thanks, everyone, on behalf of all the scared trans people out there.  Who knows, maybe one of them is reading this very thread and it will give her or him some hope.

See you in the F40-44 AG....

Congratulation on being YOU!!!! And happy Coming Out Day - the truth will set us free! I want to live in a world where everyone is free to be just the way they feel inside, and I'll do everything I can to make that true in my world. Thanks for doing your part, too.
