Good morning!

4:15am:  4 mile run with 6X100m repeats.  Seemed like such a short workout!  Followed it up with some plyometrics and core work just to really get my heart pumping and the sweat going!

Have a great weekend!  It's a sporty weekend here--dh gone coaching our h.s. softball team, dd has volleyball games home tonight and a tournament away tomorrow--I'm a softball widow and a volleyball mom this weekend and I love it!

Gooood luck racers!!!

Did a fast, for me, mile at 11:47 and felt great. A little stiff in the knees but still an awesome feeling.

Overslept, but made up for it with a 90 minute mid-day run (in 45mph gusts, ugh!) and 30 minutes on the trainer after work.

My "easy day" but I missed my Thursday swim as pool wasn't available, so I did a short but harder workout. 1500m including 10 X 100 easy-build-easy-hard on 1:50; averaged maybe 1:35. I just kept the watch running so I'd hit the rest interval. Got out at 4:59 as guard was turning the lights out! Happy day--ten days of spring break start now!

Easy day, strength training and a 90 minutes ride at "lets enjoy the scenic view pace".

Arm day in the gym, pool work tonight after work.

Also, finally picking up my now functional bike, so will probably have to play with that a bit this evening, too Cool

Was scheduled for 10K with 3x1600 intervals on the treadmill ... but woke up with my HR 10 bpm higher than my normal resting rate.  Dropped it to be on the safe side.  Monitoring to see how this evolves because I want to avoid overtraining like the plague.

3.5 miles on a sunny 65 degree day. Temperature climbed to over 70 when I was done. I hope I acclimatise to the heat the way I did to the cold because I feel like such a wimp at 65 degrees. Part of it is that I'm still wearing long sleeves while my tattoo heals, I'm sure. Can't wait for the healing to be over with. I really, really miss swimming!

Woke up and still have the stomach bug. Puked. Did not run as I had hoped. Feeling incomprehensibly crappy.

Greetings!  Got ~30 minutes on the trainer this morning with higher than normal cadence effort.  Heading out for a 35-40 minute tempo/speedplay run in a few minutes!  Then I'm off to the pool after work for ~2500 yards filled with race effort/simulation sets.  =)

My coach cut me down to just a 30-minute poolie-doodle dogpaddle session today after blowing up monumentally during velo class (and sloggly brick.) I was going to blow it off, but glad I sucked it up and went, though I could hardly haul myself out of the pool afterward. Def plan to make it an early night!

No swimming this week as the university pool is shut for spring break (that explains why I've been so incredibly cranky all week)!  Therefore, I had to come up with an alternative for my Friday lunchtime workout, which consisted of fast hiking 350 feet up the nearby A-Mountain/Hayden Butte in Tempe, AZ (elevation = 1,496') to have my lunch.  Great views and a nice breeze at the top on this hottish day Smile

Took it easy today as I have a 5k race in the morning.  I put new tires on my race wheels and changed my rear sprocket.  I've also been having some neck pain so I flipped my stem over to ease the strain on my back.  It seemed to help during a test ride.

Got in an awesome 5+ mile run in along the beach this morning in San Diego, great change of pace from the snow we had yesterday back home in Washington.
