You could do the leg butterfly and still beat my split time.

Sorry, but there is no way anyone is going to beat me for the claim of SLOWEST swim split this Sunday.  I will be absolutely pathetic out there.

I was wondering if you were going to chime in.  IF you come out of the water behind me (and that's a big if - i don't know if you're wave is ahead of or behind mine) I'd like to know when you pass me so let me know what color the blur will be.

Birkie - we can have our own little side challenge.  My goal is to finish before you finish, eat, get a massage and change into street clothes.

Our Elite Master wave goes out second, right after the Pro/Elite Open wave.  That will give all other waves a chance to view me falling behind everyone in the first 100 yds.  Just don't laugh too hard please :)

I'll be the blur on the Felt DA with the same red top as in my avatar pic ;)

Well I will be in the water I am sure long after you all are on the bike. going second to last will do that. I do hope to beat one of you on the swim but I doubt it. I am pretty slow. Though hopely this race will have alot more bigger guys I can race against so I will not be completely alone for entire race.

My first him I did 49 mins to get out of the water but at Crystal lake I could do a mile in 38 minutes. so who knows. I suspect the swim will be alot faster at racine.

In the email you got this week that is the "newsletter" look down the right hand side ribbon for that critical information packet.  Then download that -about 8-9 pages and it is in there along with rules, schedule and parking info.

how are we suppose to get to our cars when the race is over?
Are we all expect to bike back basicly?

there is no parking in theory all day so you can not get your car and then come and pick up your stuff. the buses run until 3:00 which is about 6:30 finishing time for Men Cylesdale group. Plus the after party goes to 5.

How far away are these lots?

I know after the rockman last thing I wanted to do is bike. If they told me I could have biked the last 13.1 miles I told them forget it.

Last year we parked along the side streets. Up and down the side streets of Racine. It was a little bit of a walk back to the car, but nothing unmanageable.

coredump caught her on the bike, as expected, but maybe earlier than she expected.  Schmize caught her.  The rest of us were left in the dust.  She kicked our a$$es.

I took my mind off my pain by shouting at her when I saw her on the run.  I was yelling and hee hawing, people must have thought I was nuts.

"Lauraaaaaaaaaa, I'm coming to get youuuuuuu!!! Heeeeeeeehaaaaaaawwwww!!!!!!"

Dumpster flew by me on his carbon fiber speed machine with his aero helmet slicing through the wind at about 3 minutes into my bike ride. We were still on that bumpy street leading away from the race site.

I could hear the disk wheels coming up behind me... and I was going 22 mph at this point... Whooosh Whoooosh Whooosh... I was like...."Oh, Gawd, heeeeeere they come...." Look to my left and it's my own boyfriend dusting me like I'm standing still....

Schmize made some crack about my age when he caught me around mile.... 30? I didn't see anyone else. Anyone see me? I'm tough, I can handle it. You can tell me if you passed me on the bike.

Everyone else caught me on the "run" if that's what we're calling it. Wink

I'm sure since he's such a warm and caring kind of boyfriend that it wasn't intentional...

If it's any consolation, I got similarly dusted by one of our local female triathlets.
