  • Comments: I liked the small city atmosphere and the location. It is good to come here for a weekend. However, I would not run here again for couple of reasons: 1/ Bad location of transition area and its organization, 2/ Railroad crossings on the bike course, 3/ Weeds in the lake.

  • Comments: Excellent race. Great coordinators. Allowed our team to have our own wave and area in transition that allowed us to race for my good friend Patrick Sievert.

  • Comments: I gave it a 5 because I love this race - 3rd time I have done it (2nd time as an individual). I really liked how Attitude Sports had their team out on the course marshalling it and even called a couple of guys ahead of me for drafting...also felt very safe on the bike course with good amount of police presence and traffic control.

  • Comments: Sometimes we have to step back to see how much we have grown. 2005 1:47 2006 1:37 2007 1:27 2008 1:32 (Du year) 2009 DNF (darn flat) 2010 1:26 This race has gone through growing pains too, but I was impressed with how it was run this year and might just back next year to celebrate my tri 'birthday' Either that or I will go to Chucky e Cheese's.

  • Comments: Midwest Sports Events puts on some great races. Lots of volunteers espcailly with the Pewaukee event (even some donkeys out there volunteering, DJ, Stacy, Nicole and Kim!). Pewaukee is one of the premier tris in the Waukesha/Lake Country area.

  • Comments: The race was a lot of fun. competing with my 54 yr old uncle, cousin, friend and co-worker made it very memorable. It was also cool to see my high school friends handing out water, my parents and extended family at the finish line. i also liked being (home) wisconsin.

  • Comments: Dispite, the crowds, race was run well this year, although it sure would be nice to have some bike support on course for idiots who can't properly change a tire. After a deeply disappointing race at High Cliff, I have decided to just enjoy the rest of the season, no matter what. I sure got to test that theory for this race.

  • Comments: Thought the swim was well handled - lot of lifeguards- crafts out there, and the waves were father apart than I remember from some previous sprints I was in. I think they did a good job limiting the entrants as well - when I heard the rumor 2000 people were allowed in, I was worried for everyone's safety on the bike course. Glad it was just a rumor.

  • Comments: I enjoyed my time here and all the first timers didn't bother me much. It was actually kinda nice blowing by them on the bike. It was great to see Cwen, Kimk, DJ and the boys racin' (TTD, JMWebs). Met some other folks whose names escape me (apologies guys). Good day and good race. If it weren't for my Transitions, I would've been darn close to my sub 1:30 race goal.

  • Comments: Bottom line? I AM A TRIATHLETE AGAIN!!!!!!!! As negative as some of this report may sound, I am very happy to finish and get over the swim hurdle. It really helps to erase the bad memory of Lake Mills. I am now looking forward to Triing for Childrens in two weeks. EEEEEEEAAAAAAAWWWWWWW!!!!!

  • Comments: I wasn't able to find my transition times so it's a guess at this point what my times were in and out of the transitions. Also, I am guessing what my individual event times were as well. I looked at my watch once I got in to each transition. There wasn't any drink stations the last 1.5 miles.... I didn't get it. Was it because it was mostly downhill?

  • Comments: This is the Tri that started it all for me 4 seasons ago. It is close to home and I will probably keep doing it. However it is just too big. Also much of the race from body marking, to the start, to the bike, was (barely) organized chaos. This was the second race in a row where Midwest Sports has not been on top of their game. I was 5 minutes slower than last year and based on the wind and my performances this year, this was not a surprise. Best part was seeing all my friends. Great to see BunnyT (congrats on your first.) Joe Runner, Cweninger, Sgoehner, Amyjotris, Firstnet911 (jockstrapping) and DjDavey (troublemaking) and my non-BT friend Kyle...and of COURSE I saw Scoobysdad!! I, however did not see Charles Benson.
