Maybe it's a guy /girl thing, I've never had an issue. Although I never thought I'd hear a man say to me "Now I am going to be touching your buttocks." I don't find it embarrassing at all, but I am not easily embarrassed Although, my wife opts out as well and had never reported an issue. So more likely it's a location/airport thing As for the scanners being "safe," I am not really a black helicopter kind of guy, but recently there was a very well known hospital locally that learned that it was calibrating its CT scanners wrong and delivering 1000s of times the prescribed dose. I can't trust hospitals to get these right, sure as heck am not going to trust the TSA to do so. |
