Champion 7163 Verona WI--Ironman Bike Country! | Subject: RE: SWBKRUN fast, furious, and closed Goal achieved! '07: 47:16, Today: 46:38 Second in AG, missed first by 6 seconds! Damn! Winds were a blustery 10-20mph which mainly affected the back half, but I started hard and did my best to hold on. Pace eroded the last 3m, but I banked enough in the front half to get the job done. First mile was a 7:00 so I basically knew I had it in the bag at that point. I kept pushing to see how much I could beat it by. Didn't puke so that must mean I left something out there for next year! '12 goal beat my 10k PR! Happy Thanksgiving Peeps!
