Elite 3395 Raleigh | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Red team are idiots! The way to get to the end to to keep the strongest team as long as possible. You don't have to like Adrian to use him for your own benefit. Conda is taking up Dolvett's time, is a disruptive force and except for this week, does not lose enough weight. With immunity the older woman should have gone. In the long run she will be the least help to the team. Each week I hate Conda more. Even if she loses a lot of weight, she will always be an ugly person on the inside. In a season of no execuses, she is a living breathing excuse machine! I also would vote for her to be the person MOST likely to regain any weight she loses. The Red tam has their heads up the a$$es. |

Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Conda is irritating...but she's also somewhat smart in the sense that she can manipulate her team. Adrian is a hard worker...but he's as dumb as a toolbox. With all his talk about "playing the game", he basically played his way into elimination despite being one of the red team's strongest members. |

Champion 7821 Brooklyn, NY | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser It’s hard to believe Conda and Jeremy come from the same family. He seems so positive and upbeat and she’s a miserable, poisonous witch (so, JMK, tell us how you really feel…) Adrian certainly came on too strong, but he was 100% right when he said that his team never gave him a fair shot. Kim and Conda were outspoken at the beginning in saying he would have to earn his way onto the team, and the other guys went along with the Toxic Twins despite claiming to be open-minded. Too bad, because it’s going to cost them. They’ve put the leadership of their team in very poor hands. Dolvett keeps trying to show them what a problem Conda is and they either don’t see it or are too scared of her to speak up. Having said that, Dolvett is kind of a wuss. No way would Bob or put up with all of the red team’s nonsense. And can you imagine if Jillian was still around? She’d put Conda in a headlock and choke her out until she promised to be nice. My wife and I are really disappointed with this season. It was probably our bad luck to start two seasons ago (when Olivia won). That cast was 100 times more inspiring than this bunch of idiots. The black team is ok, but even they’re getting sucked into the black hole of drama that is Conda, and it looks like next week gets even worse. If I wanted to see a bunch of lazy, entitled brats snipe at each other week after week, I’d watch the Bachelor. |

Veteran 297 Kansas | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I have to agree, I can't think of a single person on either the black or red team that I would be happy to see win the show. Maybe that will change as we learn more about the players, but nothing inspiring this season. Its not that I dislike all of them, but none that I am rooting for. I have to believe the producers sought this out in casting. If you remember, the past few seasons were pretty lovey-dovey with each week a new person volunteering to fall on the sword for the team and get voted off. Certainly not happening this year with any regularilty. |

Pennsylvania | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser The red team is a mess. I missed the drama portion of last week when Adrian and his sister came back, so I didn't see how they were treated and if they were given a fair shake or not. All I know is that partway through this week's show, he (or was it Dolvett telling him to?) said he needs to just keep quiet and prove that he can do the work and not run his mouth. If only he would have done that, he may have stayed. But I'm glad he's gone. His unusual penchant for neck scarves, even with a T-shirt, was really freaking me out. I'm glad Chism and Jeremy finally both had solid weeks. There really is no reason for them not to. Preferably I would have liked to see Conda gone (who actually lost a decent amount of weight this week) this week and Adrian gone the next. And yeah, the drama factor will be at a 10 next week with Adrian's sister vs. Conda. Did anyone else think it was a little weird he came back in and told the group to not treat his sister a certain way? This season is very unusual. Edited by melbo55 2012-02-08 1:42 PM |

Champion 10471 Dallas, TX | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Conda obviously hates who she is... because she starts gossip and drama with everyone around her. Why can't her team see that she's going to have an issue with SOMEONE. Adrian's gone... so it will be someone after him. She's just like that. She isn't happy with herself, so she finds someone she has an issue with and starts a fight. The red team will be weak as long as they keep that girl around. She's dragging them down with her drama. |

Extreme Veteran 493 Greer, South Carolina | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I hate Conda as much as anyone, but is it possibly that they are keeping her around as a sacrificial lamb after the teams are combined? The Red team includes of Mark, Santa, and Kim who all have either children or a spouse on the other team. Maybe they are keeping her around for insurance should one of their family members end up below the yellow line after the teams are combined. Her low weekly average weight loss almost guarantees that she will regularly fall below the yellow line. Maybe I’m just grasping at straws, but it wouldn’t be the first time that parents set out to eliminate any potential threats for their children while keeping around a player that no one liked to sacrifice when necessary. |

Pro 4339 Husker Nation | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser While I don't think Adrian got a fair shake, I also think he ran his mouth a little too much. If I tell our 2 y/o "you're doing a good job picking up your toys" the 3 y/o will say, "I want to do a good job picking up my toys too" and I'll tell him, "Don't tell me; show me." and he gets it. Dolvett tried telling Adrian the same thing and it fell on deaf ears. Awful. The one person who's sneaking up as another contestant I could do without is Mark. First he accuses his teammate (who lost the same weight as his SON) of bilking the system, then complains that "he didn't lose enough" the next week. So let's say he drops 12-15 lbs the next week, then Mark is just gonna say, "See, told you he threw the weigh-in". But 9 wasn't enough to get his justification so he just had to be mad that it wasn't enough. Get over it dude, jeepers. I was surprised to see Buddy's vote for Adrian, based on his comments after the weigh-in, but that testifies to me that Adrian wasn't exercising discretion with his comments. Toootally looking forward to tomorrow's showdown between Conda & Condoleeza (okay I forgot her name). Black team is just gonna roll this year like they did last year, all because Dolvett & Co. can't keep their team together and to quit sniping at each other. How about instead of figuring out who we're going to vote off we focus on LOSING WEIGHT and not going to the elimination room?! What a concept! |

Champion 5312 Calgary | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I have only made it half way through the episode. That Chris cracks me up so much. "Ohhhhhh, Bob betrayed me." Ha, are you serious. Who is the needy one now?? Too bad Roy got booted, but he is 63. He did say he was tired. Man, I can only imagine. Good for him to get away from his wife for a bit too, maybe help him with his codependency issues, ha. And is it just me, or does Bob come across a little bit ingenuous with his, "crush conda" routine. Like he is doing it for the cameras but doesn't really fit with his value system or something. |

Pennsylvania | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Overall I wasn't happy with Roy being voted off and since I missed the first parts of this and last weeks' episodes, I didn't know what 'distractions', etc. they were refering to with him. He is a motivated, solid 'loser' and I feel it would've been good to keep him around to help win weigh-ins. Heaven knows Kimmy's 3s and 4s don't really cut it, yet they kept her. But I agree with one of the other posters: it may do him and his wife good to be apart a little. It was awesome in his post report how he is working with the Boys and Girls Club to help make kids healthier, plus he obviously kept his effort up to continue to lose at home. It really warmed my heart and made me proud to see him outside in the snow running and working out. No excuses there! I felt really proud of Daphne to have climbed all those stairs in Bob's desired time (with a little time to spare!). And I was even more proud of her for kicking Conda's whiny butt on the scale. Edited to add: I also agree with the poster who mentioned a growing dislike for Mark. I'm right there with ya! He's kinda sneaky and whiny and back-stabby like Conda...poor Dolvett, having to deal with the wackadoodle red team... Edited by melbo55 2012-02-15 10:24 AM |

Veteran 297 Kansas | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I don't know what to think about the previews for next week. It looks as if someone takes a temptation and then gets the power to reshape the teams. While a lot can be done with edited previews, it appears all hell breaks loose with Dolvett running around the weigh-in segment telling people to wait, as someone walks out and they showe a bunch of + numbers going up. Looks as if one team or group decide to throw the weigh in ... While some seasons have been boring, I am not a big fan when it turns into a typical reality-style Real Housewives type show. I like to think of it as one of the few positive reality shows, but looks like that is not the case this season. I still can't think of one single contestant that I am actively rooting for??? |

Member 131 Connecticut | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser The only good thing about last night's episode was seeing Conda get her butt kicked, even with her team providing 2 lbs of advantage. The Reds conspired against Roy over the past couple of weeks when he showed sympathy toward Adrian, I think. Mark is very annoying and is "playing the game" as much as anyone - his "logic" on when someone is worthy or not is messed up. Basically, the Red team (as everyone says) is unlikable and a mess. The Black team isn't much more likable, but I think I do like Cassandra a bit - she is doing well and seems to be generally enthusiastic. The fact that she crushed Conda in earlier episodes still gets her points also. I was very disappointing to see how lame the Black team was overall without Bob when they have been doing this for weeks. You would think they could put together a decent workout and bust-a$$ on their own by now. |

Just watched the preview. Super awesome. BL is the only reality show that I watch. I have found the production on this show to be awesome. So much better than any season past. I am glued to the screen, more or less. No fast forwarding it for me. That said, I don't know what they did to avoid the conflict that is apparent this season or if they did something to fuel it. Someone guessed getting people on with more overt personality issues (I suppose that anyone who is fat may be said to have a sort of personality disorder but it seems like the other seasons, especially the early ones had people who struck me as pretty darn normal). Also, I find that there are tons of people I know nothing about due to the concentration on Conda and whoever she happens to be feuding with. |
