Worst race ever. But I made it in! The bike was horrible, and the first loop of the run the wheels fell off the wagon (puking a couple of times from the heat). Had to put the wheels back on the wagon, and the 3rd lap I was able to actually run between aid stations.

I'm glad that's over. Man, do I feel horrible.

Thanks so much for following online!

YEAH ELAINE!!!!!! You are an Ironman. I sit here crying for you this morning with hubby looking at me all silly. You did it. Way To Go.

Congrats to each and every Ironman out there.  I was hoping I was taking the wind for you yesterday.  Guess their was enough wind for two states.

I checked in on everyone as soon as I got home and several times throughout the night.

You guys ROCK!!!

Ditto all that has been said.

Sounded like brutal conditions.

I can't fathom racing for 16+ hours.

Way to go out there everyone

It was definitely a tough day out there but it looks like everyone dug deep and found what they needed to make it happen.

Some really heroic efforts out there yesterday sure to fuel some epic stories that we will all remember for a long time to come here on BT.

Take care and recover well
