Master  2500   Crab Cake City |  Subject: Hat or Visor- which do you prefer?I have never used either in a race but our club is putting an order in and I am not sure which one I will purchase and use more. So I figured I would see what the masses use and why they like it. |

Veteran 106 Singapore | Subject: RE: Hat or Visor- which do you prefer? Visor for most races. The only reason I would change to a hat is for the really hot races, you can put ice in the hat and put it on your head. Works as a good cooling method, otherwise I prefer the open top of a visor.

However, when it will be raining or if it is super hot out I'll wear a VISOR. In the rain it keeps most of the water out of my eyes, and on the hot days (typically in races) I tuck wet sponges in there to try to keep cool. |
