Re:places to stay

It seems to be a bit of an issue if you live far away and don't plan way ahead! There are a number of VRBO houses- so groups are ok or an individual willing to sublet a room in 1 that someone else has rented..we found the cambridge hotels are few & already full once we got in to the race (IM took over)..Are staying 45 min away in Salisbury..Easton a little closer...will be able to give you more feedback in a few weeks!!!

Hi All

I'm reaching out to you as I am having to pull the plug on Ironman MD. This was going to be my 4th full Ironman, but my training and assortment of other reasons (ok, excuses) have me bowing out. With that said, I was hoping I could get back a bit of the $650 race entry by selling my premium room. If you know of anyone, I was hoping to pass long my stay for $175 per night over my paid portion to recoup half of my race entry. Yes, I am facing the wrath of my spouse who is not pleased to say the least (as insurance was not an option when I signed up). This is the only way out . As there are folks who spend $5,000 plus on their bike frame, I was hoping the same folks would want to stay in style.

I have already paid for the room and the cost came in for Thursday and Friday night at:

Nightly Rate per Room:

September 18 374.15 US DOLLARS
September 19 389.10 US DOLLARS

Type of Rate: AAA DISCOUNT
Rate Information: - Rate extended to members of AAA Motor Club

Additional Tax, Fees & Service Charges
STATE TAX: 8.50%
OCCUPANCY TAX: 5.00%
RESORT FEES: 25.00

Guaranteed by: AMERICAN EXPRESS GTD
