Expert ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Oh COJers...just a little fun. What's in your gym bag? Is it wet and moldy and has it been rotting there for more than a few days? I made a little video here, but you can just list the contents of your bag below. Okay...GO! <iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/7FE9GM3fIgQ" frameborder="0" width="560" height="315"> |

![]() ![]() |
![]() | ![]() Currently: - two towels (one to dry off, one to put on the wet floor to avoid ruining my dress pants) - shampoo, conditioner, soap - hairbrush - back-up goggles & ear plugs - probably a swim cap - some spare change - ear drops - goggle cleaning solution (doesn't work) - combination lock - wet swim suit - SwimSpray (which I used for the first time today and appears to work) |

Extreme Veteran![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I need to do some spring cleaning, but this morning: Main Section:
End section:
It's an Eagleman Swag bag from last year, it has served me well as a daily hauler for my stuff. I used to get pretty funky with sweaty clothes in there for the day while I was at work, but I fixed that by rinsing them out in the shower, then run them through the suit spinner in the locker room. No more funk in the bag! |

However, the last item on the list is about to be consumed... THREE pair of goggles??? (don't tell Tony) Seems like the 2 of us that do not do triathlon have the least in our bags. I feel I must add more .. maybe some swim stuff .. cuz I do swim .. sometimes. I haven't been able to find any that don't leak so I just keep taking his... don't tell him! Not that he would notice as he doesn't really swim anymore. What's up with all these hair elastics? Do they somehow multiply like rabbits when no one's looking? |

Master![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Now that I finally have my gym bag with the waterproof section... -3 pairs of goggles (hmmm...should toss that old pair now) -swim cap -flip flops -swim towel -gloves -running shoes/socks inside -sports bra -tank top -sweat towel -water bottle -ear buds -deo for the BO -hair bands/clips -baby wipes -diapers -energy bar -bag of quarters -Carmex And upon further inspection...an old school (literally) jump rope. Apparently I put them in the various pockets for "safe keeping" or with that thought of "if I put it here, of course I'll remember that's exactly where I put them"... and then I swear they somehow breed in the dark pockets. Then again, maybe I just keep buying more without realizing it? I have been known to be delusional. |

Champion![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Actually, I have three (3) different bags: Gym: padlock, Ipod, (2) towels, dry shirt. Swim: Jammers, goggles (3 pairs), flip-flops, dry tee shirt, towel, padock, mesh bag for wet gear. Race Bag: Varies, depending on whether triathlon or running race. My swim bag stays in my car most of the time in case I get out of the office early enough to swim on the way home before dinner. Mark |

Master![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Two bags--one just for swim and one for bike (stationary at gym) and/or run: Swim bag: Suit (hopefully): One of three Speedo Endurance suits in different colors, all boring; cap; goggles and spare goggles; towel (if swimming at work); small Speedo paddles (no need for other pool toys as school provides those); "Workout file": baggie with various workouts, mostly from NTC masters but also others; water bottle--my lucky one from Hawaii; clarifying shampoo to get chlorine out; conditioner to put shine back in; small baggie to put earrings in while I swim; comb Bike/run bag: Baggie with Jorge workouts; bike or tri shorts and top; MP3 player and armband, HR monitor and watch; shoes, sometimes socks, regular shampoo, deoderant, comb; bigger water bottle, Nuun or Endurolyte tablets; hat, sunglasses, and bandanna to mop sweat for run Not a whole lot of extra stuff--I usually go home after working out so no need to make up, etc. Edited by Hot Runner 2013-04-08 7:01 PM |
