I like them alright. Lemon-lime, margarita, and strawberry.

I love them! Cran-Razz and Strawberry are my favorites.

I'll never do gels again (I hate gels).

I can't stand blocks!  They seem to stick to my teeth and it drives me nuts.

Cran Razz rocks!

If it is cold they become rock hard and very hard to chew and get stuck in your teeth. Winter Mary I'd skip them.

I like them (convenient and taste pretty good) but I've found some of the flavors definitely leave a slight aftertaste. I usually drink at least some water after chewing through them.

Taste is tolerable -- not much better or worse than the rest of the fake flavors that these things come in.  They can be a bit hard to chew and get down deep into a long run.  For that reason, I prefer gels.  They're also disgusting, but they go down quickly and easily.

And all those who say you love them.  You all are just nuts.  I mean, I love a nice poached pear tart, or a perfectly roasted chicken.  I've never loved any 'food' devised to provide nutrition on the run.... Smile

I love them for long rides because getting them out of your teeth gives you something to do. However, on hard, long runs, I use too much energy messing with them, so I just use gels instead. Sometimes I eat them just 'cause, since they're so yummy!

I like them, but if I eat more than two while running I get side stitches.  Two per 13 miles are my limit.

I like them, but hard to store and get out of the package ...... and since I don't use any of that Bento box crap, it has got to fit in my pockets.  Gels in a gel flask are just so much easier!

I use the margarita flavor regularly on account of the extra sodium content. It helps me avoid cramping.

I like them, but I can only use them while I am biking.  Tried during running and had horrible stomach cramps.  I like the cran-razz, black cherry, and pina colada.

I recently switched to the PowerBar Gel Blasts (cola flavor).  I like them more than the Clif shot blocks.

I love them! Cran-Razz and Strawberry are my favorites.

My faves, as well. I do like Shot Bloks best of the solid gel-type products that I've tried, actually. (My wife, OTOH, loves Luna Moons...same manufacturer, in any case.)

I love them - the margarita ones are extra good because they have a LOT more sodium than the rest.  The strawberry and cran/raspberry are probably the best tasting, though.  But Shot Bloks are great, they totally got me out of the Grand Canyon when we hiked it this past summer.  Get the job done.
