(swimming 100m time)I swim short course yards, and I haven't tried an all-out 100 yet, but for comparison sake, I did do 3 1:35's to start out my set of 100's this morning.. which was too fast as I wasn't able to maintain that. Also, for an all-out 100, I'd kick vastly different than I do in normal training as I don't have to worry about saving my legs (or getting used to swimming a stroke style which saves my legs ) 6 beat vs 2 beat.. and probably kick a lot more after pushing off the wall, so does it really matter? |
