Wife said she would leave me if I shave my legs!!!!!

Do you have really hairy legs?  Go buy some tape and say you need to tape your knee.  Shave just your knee and walk around like that for a while and see what she says.  There's no way she'll really leave you.  If she would do that over shaved legs, she's not worth it IMHO.

Ask for a compromise...if she lets you shave your legs, tell her she doesn't have to shave hers...LOL

Why do you want to shave your legs?  Because you think it'll make you faster?  Because you don't want hair scraps in your road rash?  Because you think you'll like the way it feels? 

Despite all the arguments everyone makes for shaving, the only slightly marginally practical reason for triathletes and cyclists to do it is because road rash is supposed to heal a little better if you're shaved (And I have to ask myself, just how often are these people crashing?!).  The real reason people do it is just because it's part of the triathlon/cycling culture.  In other words, "But, Mom!  All the other kids are doing it!" 

If she is only staying with you because of your leg hair, you owe it to yourself to call her bluff.

If YOU want to do it. Do it.

I was told I wouldn't be allowed back into the bed until it grew back and my couch isn't all that comfy not to mention the two Rottweilers that would want to spoon with me on the couch was enough to keep the leg hair.
