The electronic thermostat in my house.  If I even look at it the programming gets all whacky.

*Anything mechanical involving a bicycle. Actually, in my case, anything involving a bicycle, and anything mechanical.

*Getting Nuun or similar electrolyte tablets (Vietnam won't let sports stores sell them as they're considered pharmaceuticals; pharmacies don't sell sports stuff.)

*Writing legibly (I've never quite mastered this, except printing slowly, on a blackboard or whiteboard. Thank goodness for laptops and classroom projectors.)

*At present (sigh, long story) tying my shoelaces.

Just pinch and it pops open*. Once I learned this it takes half a second.

*this only works on your standard 2 clasp straps. Anything else and I immediately get baffled.

Honey I know guys who can't do it with both hands while they're looking at the clasp <sigh>

Fortunately I can do it with one hand behind my back.

For me, it is only the front-clasp one.  What diabolical mind thought those things up?

Those are the easy ones, just a pop and a slip and you're done.

Open all the new plastic packaging.  What happened to the day you could simply pinch the front and back of a bag of chips, pull, and they are open?  Now everything needs scissor, utility knife, and a chainsaw to get into.

Oh man, the packaging on non-food items is ridiculous. My solution now to the little ribbed plastic glue thingamajigs is to get some scissors and just cut the entire edge off. Then it just falls apart.

Hint: Take the CD and draw it across the underside of a countertop or desktop. You'll slice the cellophane across the 2 outer edges and be able to remove it.

You can also pop the hinges out on either side, then just pull the two plastic pieces apart, peeling off the sticker in the process, then just snap the case together again.

Can't help you with the Taco Bell thing.
