Haven't seen Jo on here in a long time. We used to commiserate a lot on our dislike of biking! Does anyone know what she is up to these days?

She's on FB a lot more. She sells health products from home/internet and continues to be a professional professional triathlete stalker

PS She co-authored Macca's new book, don't know if you knew that.

I know most of the guys at Thanyapura I think it will be absolutely worth your while and you'll have a great time. I'd say their tri camps are better than most. Also more flexible (as you noted)

I was going to mention Jo. I think it was one of the MaccaX camps at that place. Does look nice there. I did a training camp in France back in May 15. I did it mainly for the swim tuition/analytics. I'd do it again if I was going to do another tri again, perhaps with some follow up lessons. The camp was technique orientated rather than a smash fest. It was very relaxed to catering for all abilities. Sounds very much like what you have posted.

Wow--That is going WAY beyond stalking when you co-author the guy's book! (And I thought I was stalking with my profile pic. You guys do realize I edited out the stunning blonde that was on his other arm, and he is, I believe, married--but not to the blonde.)! Guess I can engage in Macca stalking if he is there. Had to laugh when you mentioned you knew the guys there--there was another thread about motivation and pushing yourself.....I've been training solo with an online coach or program so long I'd almost forgotten about THAT source of motivation. Does anyone else feel like they push harder for an attractive (in person) coach of the opposite gender?! It's one of those things, like wanting a coach to say, "Good job!" that kind of alarms me, like I've never managed to get beyond the age 15 level of emotional maturity. Will work for gold stars; will work for cute smiles. Do I look cute in my pinkie purple tri suit with the goofy socks? OMG. I really am an overgrown middle school kid.

As for the bracelets, they are great. Do you have my address in the US--better to send there as it won't make it here. Wish I could have worn one at Worlds. It might have helped somehow, or at least given me something less selfish to cry about is. I didn't end up writing anything, but I was thinking about him--just that none of us get a guarantee that we can do this again. To be honest, what I was really thinking about it when everything went south was my students--I know some of them were tracking (stalking?) me online, and I just didn't want them to see DNF or DQ in the results. They're too young to understand times, places, rankings, and such, but most do sports, and they do know what it means to quit or DQ. I would have done the whole bike course again if that was what was needed to avoid that!

Maybe its just me, but I totally work harder to show off in front of other girls. It has been my experience that impressing a woman is a lot harder! This is not related to coaches, mind you...just life in general.
