Extreme Veteran  348   Melbourne |  Subject: Pregnant!I am pregnant! Just wanted to share that! I am very happy. Looks like I won't be getting a lot of training done for a little while... I will keep swimming right through this pregnancy all going well  Thanks to everyone here who has inspired me, made me laugh and picked me up when I didn't much feel like getting up. I have had a fanastic season and achieved things in this sport I never thought possible. I will be back to do a Half IM as soon as I can! I will be watching patiently from the sidelines and cheering you all on! Take good care, Maryke |

| Elite 2796 Texas | Subject: RE: Pregnant! AWESOME!!!! Glad to hear you'll be swimming. I was at the pool last week and there was a woman in there doing laps...8 1/2 months pregnant. She's actually one of the local swim coaches. We talked for a while and finally she said "well after the baby is a few months old I'll be doing lessons again." At that point I felt free to discuss the baby. Despite the 2 piece suit and the obvious pregnant belly, I wasn't going to assume. Never, never, never, never, never, never assume a woman is pregnant. At least that's what I hear, anyway. CONGRATULATIONS!!! |
