Who is still around?

Hi Tom!

Was your triple IM your last tri?

What I remember back in 2004 when I joined BT, you were one of the first BTers who did an Ironman. Many if not most of us were in awe of what you were doing. I know you help light a spark in many that yes maybe they one day could one of those crazy Ironman races.

BT has grown and changed. Now many if not most US IMs have 30-70 BTers participating.

My last tri was IMFL last year.  I had big ortho surgery and have some medical issues and am not able to train.

I am still around.  You should pick back up where you left off.  They are still asking how to count laps in the pool and what to wear under bike shorts around here.

Dude, are you in my brain? I was just thinking about you!! Remember when we did the stagecoach century with MikeB!?? Hope all is well with your family! How are the kids?

Many folks are still around from the "old days", but a lot have drifted off also.  Less than half of the people on my friends list are still active.  I miss a lot of them, but there are some great new members also.

You're right! Now I remember ... there was a thread following her on that day and a way to post messages that would be read out to her on the run.

I know another female member who came very close to finishing the double.

That is why it is called Beginner Triathlete. Don't make fun of us newbies. You were one once.
